Everything's done by phone these days. Scan your ticket or download it and the scanning system does the rest weather it be airplane tickets, concert or football. No more losing your ticket or your pass. Give it another generation we might get it at Bradford.

But you were talking about Shipley.

Please identify the site with the transport links in Shipley?

How many acres of land do you think are required, to accomodate the pitch, four stands, access land around the stadium (at least a broad road width all the way round, to accomodate emergency access), offices, park and ride drop off bus terminals, disabled parking, and of course cycle storeage.

There you have it, 'pie in the sky thinking'.

More than happy for you to objectively identify this site, rather than a 'sound bite', throwaway comment.

Bought tickets for the Salford match. They are £10 (£5 for concessions) irrespective of where you sit.

What relevance does that have to his comment?

The comment was based on the fact that in my experience, most clubs we play, have a universal price for tickets, and in particular that Salford City have cheap tickets, yet are able to fund a competitive squad at this level.

I think we have a budget this year to have a competitive Squad and we have had most years since affordable football was introduced

Its a good debate. I don't have the answer but feel like something needs to be done and a plan put in place as soon as possible.

Could cheap tickets gradually be increased to increase the player budget or go towards increasing the potential within out youth set up?
Long term do we have a plan in place once the ground rent is up?
Do we have a belief that Stuart can take us forward and look further than his 18 months onward? Will he be given a similar budget to Bowyer?
The training ground has been done to death - can't see that changing.
The communication with fans - the current meetings with Ryan are a small way that they are trying but it sometimes feels like we get politician obvious answers to many of the questions and no real substance or worth.
Are they even looking to the future with Rupp obviously wanting out?

Would a proper fans forum help and bring some hope back to fans?

An we stop using the word ‘invest’?

Weall know we simply mean ‘give’ as we all know it isn’t really an investment with any hope of getting a true ‘’return’

    Or

How about we, the fans, take the first step and ‘invest’ by telling the club we want to pay more for our season tickets ?

Now there is a positive, leading, ambitious step.

    Who is with me?

Some good questions but how would increased prices increase our playing budget at this level

The extra money from the increased season ticket would go into the player budget pot.

    Is this a joke comment?

    ohh go on then...

because if we get people paying £250 instead of £150 for every 5,000 STs sold that is a increase in revenue if £500,000.

but it was a wind up wasn’t it

    What about £250 or £300.

note I am happy to renew my ST at those levels and (if they got rid of McCall) possibly up to £350.

(McCall bit is a wind up guys)

Has to be a cut off point at which we end up losing money. Tenner a game, £220 sounds fair. I've no objection to more expensive for a better product, say the championship.

Whatever the solutions are for developing our club on many different fronts, the one constant is that nothing will happen with Rupp and Rhodes running the show. Imo, the first step on the road to a better future will be conditional on there being a new leadership at the top.

Of course, it goes without saying that will require Rupp to sell the club at a mutually agreeable price to another owner. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening soon.

Meanwhile, JR continues to play his long game ....

We need to accept that most clubs charge too much.

It is embarrassing to see half empty stadiums up and down the country. This is a huge sport here, every stadium should be as near to full as possible.

    See my earlier submission.

How about, as fans who use the word ‘our’ when talking about the club take the first step and start paying more for the product.

maybe then the owners will acknowledge our commitment to ‘our’ club by ‘investing’ more of their money as well.

    whadyathink?
