He got another stab at PL football with Norwich and they binned him off to Town. Thats two clubs who didnt see him as a PL striker.

 

For the first time in his tenure his is now under pressure to prove his credentials
3 games and no Doyle goal and the crowd will seriously turn and quite rightly so

 

And when that doesn't work, switch to a diamond and play him as a number 10

 

Rotherham were talking about taking Yates back this time last week due to injuries. Now they have lost one of their loanees who has been recalled by Norwich.

He looked to be enjoying himself today training with the rest of the squad, him and Vaughan were obviously having a bit of banter.
No Donaldson with the main group which I was hoping to see, several watching training one said he's had a bit of a set back and he also mentioned we have turned down a £130,000 offer from Swindon, not sure how true that is, I was more disappointed in not seeing Donaldson training.

 

That may be right Park but Wellens today is saying he would like to get Kyle Bennett back from Bristol but Bennett would have to take a 75% cut in wages.

I have a few but nothing new just the squad training as usual but including Doyle.
Whilst I was there most of the stuff a was attack based crossing and one touch stuff, then a practice game as I left.

 

I'll never forget the Jack Payne episode, lesson to all of us, heard this week that Huddersfield were looking to take him back from Lincoln (Cowley connection)...

 

I didn't know the guy so I can't vouch for how reliable the information was or the figure he quoted with regards Swindon making an offer for Doyle.

 

Donaldson is doing gym work isn't he?

 

Swindon won't be making an offer for Doyle.

They didn't have a cup run, could never afford his wages, all their good signings are on loans because afford the players, and unless someone has figured out where the money they don't have is coming from, it's a dead end surely.

 

I hope your correct, I'd have preferred to see him kicking a ball as Bowyer said he'd been training on grass.

 

Id be quite happy for him to help fire us to promotion and then walk for nothing in the summer. Promotion would be worth more than a token transfer fee we might get this January.

 

Time will tell just what that guy was saying, he's back with us it's up to Swindon to make an acceptable offer if they want Doyle and of course have the finance.
