Yeah the miss has cost us dearly. Reeves movement in midfield when fully fit is better than any of the present midfielders we have.

Good game tonight for me. Recycled the ball well, he it up, picked a pass and hit some quality long balls. If he ca get totally fit and stay that way, hes a L1 player and will be an asset in our promotion push. Good luck to the lad

Over the moon he’s come through this and played very well by all accounts. To be out for as long as he has and slot back in as he has tonight shows a lot about his character. Hopefully much more of him to come, will be a classy midfielder at this level.

 

Let's chill. He isn't superman. No need to put pressure on him.

However, he is better than Devine, Anderson for sure.

 

Thought he played well tonight not only with the ball but organising and being vocal with the rest of the team. I'm sure Bowyer will want to carefully manage him as the last thing we need to do is rush back with too much too soon and end up out again. Felt he allowed Cooke to push a bit further forward than he has been which with his passing and desire to get on the ball could be great for creating chances. Would be interesting to see a midfield 3 of Reeves, Cooke and Pritchard as all will work hard, get on the ball and create things for other people.

 

Reevsey and Devine woud be a good pairing in midfield together, very mobile

FFS give up with the loan business. He's clearly not going anywhere.
He'll be on the bench for the cup game and probably the next league game and if he comes through those unscathed he'll be in contention for a starting place.
A fit central midfield of Cooke, Reeves and Pritchard would allow Bowyer to play his preferred 433 system and would boss this division.

 

Let's hope his issues are behind him.

Mostly forgotten all about him as a player and what he might bring the table.

Vaguely recall a fairly mobile lad who had a varied passing game, but if that's still the Jake Reeves of 2019 I'm not sure. If it is, we do have a few midfielders of that ilk, so he could well fit in.

No point putting any pressure on the lad at this point, so my expectations are zero.

 

Yes mate it will be a shame to lose him when he goes out on load to gain his match fitness .
