Most of the signings are not officially our players until the 1st july

 

We all thought that would be the cast when they bought the club, promises of not changing things, why would they we were having possbly the best years of season on season improvement.
What we didn't know originaly as fans was just how far Rahic was prepared to take our club backwards to prove his point of how to run a football cub.
So far I'm happy with the way Rupp has responded to trying to sort Rahic mess out, we have signed some good payers for league two, we have a manager who IMO is very similar to Parkinson in bringing good players in who have the same ethics as Bowyer himself, O'Connor being a good example.
And who knows last seasons "no show" players may now step up to the mark and be an important part of a promotion winning team knowing they have trust in Bowyer with regards a clean sheet.

 

It's the 'shows' like A. O'Connor and maybe Doyle(maybe) that we urgently need to get rid off. These players were just not good enough last season.

A.O'Connor was a liability to the back line.

McCartan needs to go also.

 

Are you being serious you know everthing Rupp is doing or not doing yet you dont know when traing begins, shame on you @fordy.

 

I think given the players we have either in or rumoured to be coming in Doyle would thrive with the likes of Donaldson, Vaughan and Scannell at the club, McCartan never showed what he could do under past managers, he could be a different player under Bowyer.
If bringing the likes of Vaughan, Donaldson, O'Connor in are all subject to getting rid of the likes of Akpan & co then so be it, but if that is not the case we could pissible have the best squad in the division, all ifs and buts but we'll not know untill the transfer window closes.

 

Yeah but what a ride it was. Lets face it, if Richmond hadn't come in which is what i think you're alluding to, the likelyhood is we would have bummed round the bottom two divisions like Oldham Athletic and had a ground that held around 15,000 if we were lucky. Depends what you are happy with i suppose.

As Drury as coach we can't have the views players will get better.. we need players that are good already.

You can't guarantee that, Mark Marshall being a good example, saw nothing under Phil Parkinson even though when Parky brought him in from Port Vale he knew what he offered yet he couldnt get a performance out of Mark, enter McCall he has a few words making him feel wanted and he was an outstanding player in that team that went to Wembley.

As an aside, yet with transfer activity in mind ...........
VERY strange not to have read any thoughts from the WOAP team, for over a month !
Last year, they were 'all over' the various rumours, surrounding City - Transfers, Staff or otherwise.

Perhaps they're ALL taking the SAME month off for their holidays ?
