There's a few more we could do with getting rid of but I trust Bowyer's judgement.

Got a feeling those two might simply be low cost squad fillers and used as cover. Both young, both have time on their side for Bowyer to coach and improve. I'm no huge fan of either, but I do think Bowyer knows what hes doing. Devine will count as the home grown player too. It's the contracted shite I want to see him start the cull with now

 

Says a lot about how O’Donnell is thought of if we’ve released the player he was dropped for.

Bit of a different view to Anderson to most on here. I remember a few years ago he was playing for the Posh and he started drumming up some interest from higher up. I believe Spurs were one? Anyway the lads suffered from two cruciate injuries probably hampered his development, a lot of noise on here about youth at the moment but we have a lad here who has a bit of pedigree at this level and still young.

He'll do ok in League 2, give him a full pre season and a run of games. Before anybody pulls it up about the ''give him a pre season'', look at this season. A good pre season is ESSENTIAL!

 

Young Devine must be wondering what the hell hes got to do ‘not’ to get another contract

 

No clutching at Straws at all I think Anderson will do a good job for us as part of a squad next season and so does Bowyer because he has played a lot for him

 

Given none of us on here are anywhere near as qualified in football as Bowyer is I'm going to reserve judgement. If Bowyer sees something in him then IBWT, he's still young and looked okay when I've seen him this season

 

Delighted ill never witness NKP get turned at a snail's pace and Chicksen bottling a tackle ever again.

 

I would have considered keeping Callum Woods who looks good when fit but like Clarke ,who I also would have kept ,he is very injury prone so I can see why Bowyer has decided to release them both. We needed a cull and we've certainly got one.

Agreed. Personally, if it'd have been me making the decisions I'd have released him. I feel like hes been here too long, never really managed to nail down a spot and keep it. He hasn't really ever shown me enough to suggest hes any better than non league standard. However, Bowyer knows a lot more than me about football, will see him train and has obviously taken time to assess his attitude. If he feels Devine's got enough potential then over to you Mr B to show us you can coach him to produce on the pitch and prove us wrong. On your head be it, for next season... promotion is a must
