Not even sure who is wearing it in the stock image either. Is it Josh Wright?

What gets me is even as a kid playing in the park you wanted 'your' side to win....
Would have thought that this desire would be paramount to any sportsman/woman..

    Spot on
I think now the season is over and we are effectively on our way down its time to bring the kids in
at least they should show the desire and will to win our fans will accept defeat if the players have put a shift in
As for our current encumbents has it been coached out of them are they just lazy or is it they know they will get paid whatever ( over inflated egos) They should realize football is a very short career and carrying the same attitude they are showing now into life after football will get them nowhere

i don’t think any of our players don’t want us to win, it’s more what they are willing to do to get that win.

in terms of the recent discussion over the past 48 hours re anthony o’connor, i see those that are shouting the loudest on social media and boards are the same that think it’s ok to abuse players online and also take flares into the ground that have landed the club with a large fine according to the media - something that we can not afford.

people in glass houses eh - they don’t want o’connor at the club but think their behaviour is acceptable? if that’s the case they’re not welcome in my opinion either.

What have flares and anti-social behaviour got to do with fair criticism of players who're abjectly failing to perform or show the desire that all fans expect?

They've been well supported all season, and it's resulted in one of our most pathetic season's in living memory. Fans have a right to be angry and to vent that anger. I'm sick of this lot and their 'efforts'. They need telling straight.

It's the fans fault m8. Nowt to do with the players. If only those fans hadn't let off flares and called them nasty names. Didn't clap hard enough etc...

I blame the kit man, shoddy armband is the real reason the players can’t tackle, stop crosses, score, pass...

You couldn’t make some of this crap up!! Widecsweeping statements lumping every who disagrees with you into the same camp! We now have fans who quite rightly questioned A O’Connor behaviour as the same fans who let off flares and abuse players online. Lazy lazy analytical clap trap.

so you believe it’s ok to abuse people over social media?

it’s two sides of the same coin - fans accussing players of disrespecting the club whilst they disrespect the club through online abuse and taking flares into the stadium which land the club with a fine they can’t afford.

    Define 'abuse'.

If a player puts in a string of gutless performances then I don't have a problem with that person being called gutless.

I don't have a problem with O'Connor being criticised for throwing the armband away yesterday- I'm not buying his statement one bit. His attitude was questioned by Aberdeen fans and we're seeing why.

Our players throw in more towels than a Chinese laundromat. Criticism of their performance and lack of heart is fair game.

The Parkinson side had limitations, as did Stuart's. But they were backed by fans to the hilt because they had heart and professional pride.

We've gone beyond 'getting behind the lads'. Continued support of what we're seeing is enabling this farce to continue. Enough is enough. The players have been supported in greater number and backing than any other club would be in this league, in this position.

This club need a a complete reset, as does our mentality as a fan base. We're going nowhere but backwards.

Anger is very much justified. If those among the squad have a problem being called out, they can take their inflated salaries, jump off social media and worry about whether it's Dubai or Marbella for their summer holidays- though some look like they've had their in their uppermost thoughts for months.

Even the EFL program this morning are questioning the O'Connor stiuation, I suppose after a performance like yesterdays there is very few positives that can be taken from our footballing display.
I do hope we announce Gary Bowyer early Monday morning.
That will give him 33 points to play for, hard call to keep us up yes, but new face new ideas who knows.

here’s the thing, i’ve not once said “get behind that lads” but that statement has now become something for the angrier set of supporters to use to berate those who have concerns but don’t openly use social media or fan forums to berate the players and the club.

there is a difference between criticism and abuse. if someone isn’t peforming to their potential in their work then they are rightly open to criticism but not abuse. unfortunately for some they can’t differentiate between the two.

criticism; the expression of disapproval of someone or something on the basis of perceived faults or mistakes.

abuse; treat with cruelty or violence, especially regularly or repeatedly.

    hope that helps.

I hope he never plays again.
Not due to this storm in a teacup but due to his horrendous performances.
