I think that is fair comment mate we all see things in life differently, I don't totally disagree with the above comment, I think they believe they (or should I say Edin) have the correct things in place to bring the club sucsess and at the moment are not prepared to change it (remember Edin's comment about not sacking the coach even if we lose 10 games) unfortunately I think they will be forced to change their outlook of how a football club should be run.
I just hope they change things sooner rather than later because if we get sucked into a relegation fight and we drop back into the kahzi league no matter how cheap the season tickets are many will follow your example.
That is unthinkable after what we as Bradford City fans have been through over the last 16/17 years or so (taking the Parkinson years out) to find ourselves back in the bottom tier of league football, I'm not sure I could support owners who have taken us down that route by choice.

This was one of the passages of play we had to endure while MC watched yards away, Was painful and embarrassing to see the team set up so poorly that players did not bother moving for each other or helping each other.

Sat through some dire stuff over the years, along with all of the wonderful times at Valley Parade, but can't be bothered at the moment. Had a lovely day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park instead, and glad I didn't waste my time.

The club is being run into the ground.

 

I don't think we brought Doyle to the club to play that system, total stupidity but as I have said maybe Micheal Collins thinks he can re-invent the wheel with the players he has at his disposal,
I have not seen that much of Doyle apart from games against us but that night game against Oldham he and Craig Davies pulled our back two all over the place and were a constant problem all night.
I'm sure someone like Greg or even Micheal himself realise to get the best from a player like Doyle you play to his strengths not change a formation that might or might not work to suit the likes of Seedorf.

 

Totally agree. This is all of our own making.

I supported the club last time as we didn't have any money and Rhodes did his very best in tough circumstances.

This mess is totally down to poor management.

 

Speaking of Seedorf. Dear me. An absolute shocker today. I hope it was because he was being played out of position, rather than being total and utter gash. Lost the ball on many occasions, miscontrolled the ball a lot, and passed to the oppo often. Woeful game.

 

I don't think I have ever experienced a mood like this among so many fans. Even when we were sinking down the leagues there was an air of stubborn defiance and a will to support the club whether we were in the Premier leagur or the Evo Stick north. There was a pride that was not dependent on league position.
Fast forward 8 years from our darkest times and the mood is becoming worse now than ever. People are becoming apathetic which is a whole lot worse than angry. For me the appointment of Collins may be the bell beginning to toll. The longer the rot spreads the more damage will be inflicted. I worry that this season could be a catastrophe. My dad who has had a season ticket since he started taking me in the late 80s has not set foot in VP since McCall left. I thought this was an over reaction but maybe it was the start of our next decline.

Obviously the saddest part is that over the last 6 seasons we have had moments that made you feel like we could be reliving our 90s resurgence all over again. It feels like we are about to be dragged back down to the gutter. I cant face trips to Crewe, Bury. Port Vale and Macclesfield all over again. Maybe Yorkshire Sculpture Park do season tickets?

 

The sculpture park has got water in the toilets, and you can keep your bottle tops on.

Seriously though, great post. Even when we were being tonked by Rochdale and Accrington at home in those dark days, it did feel like there was still a pride in supporting the club. I don't feel that at all now.

The club has become a moderately rich man's plaything and I've lost the connection I felt for now.

 

Without exaggeration, that 1st half was the worst 1st half I've seen City have ever. On paper we look to have decent players in the team, I know it's early days and a new team of players but that was appalling to say the least. Collins is way out of his depth. The 2 wins we've had could quite easily have been defeats, we got lucky with them. We're in big trouble this season.

 

They do, but they don't change the sculptures often enough.

 

Perhaps @trevor forgot the Yorkshire pronoun of them, as in them there players?

 

They hold their positions and seem comfortable. The kind of basics we are lacking at the moment.

Jones on the radio was fit to burst. Bemoaning the lack of basics in our tram. Possession, second ball, commitment etc. You could just imagine him in the middle of the park, giving everyone a bollocking. I don’t think he’s a MC fan.
First time the radio has actually slated us.

 

Gary Jones wouldn't be the right choice, but right now id bite your hand off to have him instead of Collins.

 

As a club we have lost our identity. We dont believe anymore. I’ll go because me and my lad have a good laugh win lose or draw. But as @Hulmebantam said, i’ve lost the connect with the club, the final straw being the resignation of James Mason. When he left, the last connection had gone. I’m going to Fleetwood but i’m not even sure why because a win will not change the way i feel.

 

Heard him on the way to the game Tuesday.

He wasn't happy Killa not part of the squad and I agree with him.

Collins not picking Killa to even be on the bench highlights to me he shouldn't be manager.

I'm not having that our player of the season can't even get into the squad.

If Edin has a problem with it then tell him to go get fu&ked as he needs to pick his best squad.

Collins is a weak yes man and needs to go.
