So from the comments. Wagmi was accepted but then Sparks and others threatened to walk, Rupp refused to sell after an offer in the summer from a consortium involving one of the richest people in Yorkshire and recently we had an offer from Americans turned down.
Is that right?

Not for me Aidy. I admire the effort of lads like yourself who went down tonight. Personally i might take a break from it all, all the negativity kinda gets to you. I just want to go to Valley Parade with a smile on my face and get behind a team i can relate to. Putting it mildly the last six years haven't been very enjoyable and although i'll watch tomorrow i'm not really bothered what the result will be.

 

We all do mate. One thing we all have in common is that we want to see this football club succeed, not just for us but for the next generation to have a club worth supporting.

 

I am with you Tarty. If is exhausting all this negativity. Just so fed up with the Club 2 admins and we have been languishing in lg2 forever. I applaud all the fans who are organising what they want to do.

We’ve had some great days as supporters but most of them are distant memories.
From mid table in 17/18 to now it’s just been dismal.
Last season had the potential to be different but even that just faded out to nothing at Carlisle.
Any fan who’s only started watching in the last 6 or 7 years must be wondering what they’ve got themselves in to.

 

That's the big thing for me. If we do nothing other than circle League 2 until the end of time or worse, I'll have the memories of the mid to late 80s and 90s. My 13 year old lad has nothing but this guff to try and buy into. It's all he's known.

 

I'll sign up to try and get them to the magic number so they are recognised by the club. Beyond that I'm jacking it it. I just cant be bothered anymore.

 

Correct, new fans will be already getting fed up and finding other things to entertain them, especially on a weekend

I’ve been going since the start of the 90’s. My lad is now 18, and he represents the next generation. He’s been going since 2012, despite his very first game being a home loss. We have hardly missed a home game together, and have travelled the country for countless away days. This season, he is on course to achieve one of his earliest wishes when he started following us - to attend every single game in a season. He went to Grimsby on a Tuesday night for the BMST group game. He took the day off work to drive his mates to Forest Green. He saw us lose on the first day at relegation favourites Crawley. He is hooked and committed to being a bantam for life. He’ll never give up on us, more of a fan than I ever was.

Rupp, Sparks and Gent really have no clue the damage they are inflicting on this club and its supporters

I remember before Rupp bought us the previous owners constantly saying no one wanted to buy the club etc etc. but suddenly 3 or 4 people have wanted to but we have been over priced. Does this imply that maybe the issue previously was also the value put on us by the owners? Or have we suddenly become more attractive?
