I would have agreed once but Boris got F all done, it would have to be Nigel as PM ...

Just quoting a couple of newspaper articles Tarty. I personally cannot see it happening at all for either.

I've never known British and American politics to be as bad as it is now, and that means both main parties in each country.

Cannot see myself voting next general election, for the first time ever.

Problem is they ain't no one on the opposite side to take the reigns. Sad indictment of Westminster these days.

This Rwanda policy, is such a failed policy and a daft hill to die on for what 200 max being sent there and 100+ coming the otherway.

It's amazing why the Tories are literally sowing the seeds from defeat to an absolute landslide on this hill.

Just because he has different views to others doesn't make Farage dumb. Quite the opposite, that he managed to take on the EU almost single handedly and effectively got what he was arguing for. Don't confuse that with Brexit itself, that never had a chance of working due to incompetence from those instigating it.
Just walked out the jungle over a million richer and to the lefties dismay, his persona stronger than when he went in.

Absolutely. It’s utterly crazy. Sunak has painted himself into a corner by promising to solve such a complex and difficult problem with an obviously crackpot scheme. He’s now damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
This article - in the Guardian but written by the political editor of The Spectator (Tory house magazine) - sets out his dilemma pretty clearly.

If you thought Mad Nads was a bunny boiler, then Mone has taken it to another level.

If she is going down then she is taking this shitshow of a government with her, Gove is firmly in her sights as is Sunak. Sunak's I know nothing as the Chancellor of the time is once again taking everyone for mugs.

I understand this morning she has outed someone who used a text message from 2020 to try and discredit her by pointing out that aren't these the same messages you told the covid enquiry you had lost. Not a good luck.

The thing about Tory implosion is that friends become enemies overnight and loyalty doesn't exist. This is gonna snowball.

Since 1958 over 1500 ‘Life Peerages’ have been appointed. Currently there are around 800 active Peers. They are all Government appointees. They are not publicly accountable and hold significant power. They can attract ‘interested support’ from a variety of organisations who would want them to further their own interests. About time they radically changed the system. We have zero say on who these people are.
