Your have a clear right to vent any time you like ,no question I’d agree, forgive me when I push back on it though.. If I agree with you then I’ll say so

How many games did Stubbs miss through injury since joining BACAFC.? Let’s clarify that comment you made. “ Clearly” you know .

Would the Gordon transfer be a loan or permanent

My criticism is in my opinion we haven’t addressed issues in this squad. The players we have brought in again in my opinion are not what I would have been expecting. This pattern started in January when we had a terrible window again in my opinion when out of the guff brought in Stubbs was the only one to really shine and possibly Clayton.

My point on platt is that I think he is a steady reliable player and is currently been kept out of the team by a player who has had horrendous luck with injuries and the chances of him been injured again I would say a very high. So why sell (if rumours are to be believed) a steady player who played a good part in last season to a rival? Literally strengthening a rival.

ask yourself this question -are we going to sign any players from these clubs? Wrexham, Stockport, Gillingham, Notts, MK - particularly the ones who played a substantial role last season.

Perhaps you are right in hindsight , however didnt that “very good partnership” lose or draw games at critical moments though.? As I said to Park, I’d prefer he stays, like Gilly a squad player , but we are looking for better it appears. I don’t get the thought process that we should hang on to average players. I want to progress but we won’t if we hang on to the “ same old”. Hope that explains my thought processes.

I think we have made a start. We retained Cook when many thought we wouldn’t. We looked at the stats from last season and saw we conceded far to many from corners so we have brought in more height. We lacked goals fro midfield and now we have brought in a player who was in the top ten in the division for both goals and assist. And the big thing is recruitment is still ongoing. Probably best to save your criticism to the final product

Platt was unlucky to lose his place he was consistent throughout the season his problem is he doesn’t fit well with Hughes style of playing out from the back

Why the fixation with these clubs? Only one came from a higher division.?

At last. Spot on. Looking at individual recruitment, speculation or not, is a massive mistake. The big picture is the key and how recruitment fits in with the existing contracted players.

We had a run of 4 draws yes, but I'd say the forward players need to shoulder an equal amount of the blame for that, given 2 of those draws were 0-0. Overall, Stubbs played with Platt in 12 league games from which we gained 23 points and had 7 clean sheets. Stubbs played in 7 league games with Crichlow, from which we gained 11 points and 2 clean sheets. In those 7 games, 7 goals were scored against us but in the previous 12, only 8 were scored against us. I'd be more disappointed about losing Platt than I was about Crichlow going if I'm honest.

Personally, I don't think we conceded goals due to a lack of height Park.
For me it was very poor marking/defending.

Possibly but I do think the team lacked a bit of height last season which has been addressed with Taylor and McDonald

To me this stinks of cost cutting already this season, platt is a good defender at this level to replace him with a player who’s played 4 games last season for boreham wood don’t matter how highly thought of they are 2/3 seasons ago some players just don’t reach the heights for one reason or another

He wouldn’t be a replacement for Platt if he left Taylor is that

I can't see we are cost-cutting Cook will be on more money, Mcdonald won't be on peanuts neither will Pattison, in fact, if we sell Platt it will be profit that might go into another signing.
