I had the rest of the stadium to chose my seat/seats but I expected the club to make some acknowledgment email ?, that season ticket holder in EXJ blocks would not be abler to claim them unless the paid hospitality, by the time I found out we got 6 seats at the back of the sunwin

That's happened since hospitality up there opened though Bronco. I'm surprised you've not come across it before if I'm honest?

Obviously in the less well attended games it's not an issue but in the big games clearly the club will want to maximise revenue.

I never said otherwise Steve, but as the Arsenal game was the biggest with regards attendance the club could have let us know by email our seats wouldn't be available unless we paid hospitality prices, but we got our seats for the Villa game after a word in someone's ear.. didn't I post that ?.

I believe the Arsenal game was the first time that situation arose, exactly Dave Baldwins argument with regards maximising revenue, as I said to him unfortunately the band wagon fans would not be at the following league two game against who ever, it will be the fan who puts in another 23 home games.

I think it simply comes down to, no one is guaranteed to be able to sit in their usual seat for cup games. I'm normally in Row O, C Block, main stand. Since that's virtually on the half way line it's a very popular position at home cup ties. I was beaten to it for the Arsenal game and ended up on the front row, immediately behind the dugout. I also didn't get my normal seat for the home Villa game. That's how it goes.

As i posted when the club allow the opposition to take the Midland Road side they make it known well in advance my argument was in our case they didn't, so thinking we would get our usual seats i never thought otherwise or I would have got better seats by booking earlier, but this still doesn't answer what Ryan means with regards the reply to @Stafford Bantam@Stafford Bantam.

No problem, I'll know in the future and bag better seats, as I say just lack of communication from the club.

If you hadn’t got any seat, then I think you would be quite right to complain. However in virtually all the cup games I have been to, I haven’t got my regular seat.

A lot of the initial games in cups and pre season friendlies don’t have all the section of the ground open. What do you do then?

The issue is the distribution of loyalty points. Depending on the number you have, they can ensure you get a seat, for away games. For me, that is the purpose of them.

My big gripe is the failure of the system to allocate points for games I have been to this season.

I also do not believe you should get extra ones ‘on the day’.As Season Ticket Holders, we have purchased the seat and if we can’t go, then we shouldn’t be penalised.

I am sure the club wouldn’t wish to refund supporters for none attendance!

My point was not that I didn't get my seat more that the club just grayed the seats out with no explanation so I rang the club and asked why, after a conversation with Dave Baldwin I understood why, but nothing was said with regards our regular seat so then we had to go searching round the ground for 6 seats together when many others had already got theirs which wasn't ideal for 6b fans who attend every home game.

With regards your highlighted when we have early Cup games and friendlies the club notify fans of the situation and they know where seats will be available, where as they didn't for the Arsenal game, it seems you have not grasped my original point.

We ended up on the back row of the Kop, next to the drum, for the Arsenal game, instead of row F. Quite illuminating and I was glad to have a wall behind me on such a cold night.

A loyalty scheme where the benefit is priority access to match tickets should only be made up of points accrued by buying other tickets.

There are people due to location age and other things that stop them travelling as much as they used to but still support the club in other ways like purchasing from the shop and using hospitality why shouldn’t that be reflected in a points system

I’ve filled in the survey and made made my view clear in the notes section at the end that points should only be given for attending the men’s first team games.
If they start giving points for buying tat in the shop or a shit pint in the kiosk, I’m finished!

Because the scheme is primarily about away tickets . Not how many pies you buy at half time

So now it looks like the club are after fans with the deepest pockets not the likes of many on here who travel the length and breath of the country, as you point out it's a nonsense.

City Supporters Scheme, with the awarding of City Points for club purchases.

Agree totally. but I think it will hence the change of the name from Loyalty Scheme to City Supporters Scheme, they make it clear its not all about watching games home and away,

We are considering awarding points for purchasing products and services from other areas of the club, such as products from the Bradford City Store, refreshments from stadium kiosks and matchday hospitality or suite upgrades, for example.

If the above is correct surely those like myself should get more than 20 points for each home game I attend as I pay for hospitality, its a bag of worms but no more than I expected from Ryan.

maybe the new scheme will not be. Maybe you will
Be able to use points for other things, eg use a number of points to get a discount in the shop but then those points come off your total. That way the scheme caterings for those that want to travel and those that don’t.

just simplify it by point per £ spent at the club, on whatever, then allow people either to build up points to get priority access or spend the points on discounts.
