The 19.5k is combined ticket sales inclusive of Orient. They've posted that way through the entire season. Would expect something approaching 21k overall.

Call me old fashioned but even if there is a slim chance of the autos we should be going for it. We have more chance of 3rd than 8th imo.

 

Too right, I agree we should be fully going for it while it is mathematically possible, no matter how unlikely. The fourth division is, and always will be, so unpredictable and anything can happen

 

No I am not saying that sitting back is never the answer but we need a point but I disagree about your last point there is more chance of finishing 8th than 3rd

 

It has always been my belief that you cannot play for a draw. You can try but it inevitably leads to the opposition piling pressure on and therefore mistakes resulting in goals. Obviously draws happen despite both teams playing positively.

 

Sky Sports have chosen to show Stockport vs Hartlepool and Tranmere vs Northampton live on Monday..... they obviously don't believe in miracles! Especially after we hammer Crewe 9-0 tomorrow and wipe out that GD boost Stockport have.

Imagine if we win on Wednesday then Stockport & Northampton bottle it on TV.

To finish 8th we have to lose both games and Mansfield have to win - all while overturning a 4 goal swing. And even in defeat we could still finish 7th if Salford lose by more than us.

If we were in Mansfields position we would be saying it is almost impossible to make the play offs.

 

Extremely tall order to make the autos. Even if we win both games there’s no way Northampton and especially Stockport (against already relegated Hartlepool) will blow up on the last day.

The damage was done against the likes of Swindon (home and away), Rochdale at home etc.

For me it was the last minute goal last weekend at home to Gillingham. They don't score in the 98th minute, and we would be promoted if we win our last 2, with a better goal difference than Northampton. Real Fine margins in this league.
