Loyalty Points & Priority for Away Matches

For some reason today in the Morrisons Stand we didn't have to show our tickets and when I asked why they were not being scanned I was told the system was down, so will the club give all season ticket holder 20 points or will they show as mine does for the Grimsby home game "me and my grandson did not attend" which we did.

 

Home games are definitely a lottery this season on whether you get points or not. This 100% requires improving for next season

 

It certainly does after Ryans reply to @Stafford Bantam with regards loyalty points not being all about away games.

 

Out of interest did anyone get the season ticket scanned yesterday before entering the ground, if not it will be interesting to see if loyalty points are automatically update with 20 points for attending.

 

Does it even matter now ? Our last two away games are sold out and won't loyalty points be set back to zero at the start of 23/24 ?

 

They don’t reset them, or they certainly didn’t last summer.
Does look like Crewe is now sold out (or at least they’re showing as not available again)

 

There is a potential away tie in the play-offs of which whoever we play if we make the play offs will see a full allocation taken up.

 

I’ve had a reply from the club now regarding missing points and been told their investigation has shown our season ticket cards weren’t scanned at the said matches, hence the missing points. Not further expansion or explanation, just the standard Regards at the end.
Clearly that’s the point I was raising - we were there and either the operator, scanner or system is failing and needs correcting and fixing.
I’ve responded now showing transactions in the club shop and Tiffin bars - not sure why I would spend in the shop ten minutes before kick off without going inside, and I’d like to know how I can spend inside in the tea bars without using my ticket to get inside!
I know some people think it’s a stuck record or obsession about points but when it make a difference between getting tickets for just myself or my kids as well then it needs sorting!

 

They are making it up as they go along.

I can confirm that I have points and my daughter has points for a game where I attended but she didn't because she was ill. However I don't have points for a game where I changed my seat because she was mascot which I did attend.

There is something wrong with the system that should just give people who bought a ticket the points regardless due to the system at times not being fit for purpose.

 

They should give people all the points if they bought an ST regardless of if they attend or not.

They are supporting the club by buying a ticket for each game so why not receive the points for each game? It doesn't make any sense whatsoever and the club are overcomplicating it by not following that method.

 

Exactly thats why they are shooting themselves in the foot and making a rod for their own back.

They should be known as the "loyalty loyalty points" you get 20 for buying a season ticket then they add 20 for every game you attend complete b00l00cks,you then add 20 points for every away ticket you purchase.
Unfortunately Ryan threw this into the mix "it may also be used for high profile home matches as well" not sure what that means exactly but I have an idea, it will be like the arsenal game where they offer hospitality the seats in EXJ that we occupy every home game, saying your season ticket is only valid for league games.

You should also be able to reserve that seat for high profile games but it can't be guaranteed, just as my seat in the Midland Road stand isn't when we've given it to away fans

 

I think that's fair? You should have been offered an alternative seat though, just as I have always been when having to move from my ST seat.

Home games should never be a problem, there's enough home seating for every ST holder, even if it isn't where we'd prefer.

 

No different from any other ST. You're only guaranteed your purchased seat for league games. For home cup games it's a free for all. If someone gets online and purchases my seat before I do then I have to buy one elsewhere, potentially displacing another ST holder from 'their' seat.

As I posted when Arsenal came our section were grayed out, I rang the club to see why we couldn't get our usual seats and got put through to Dave Baldwin, he said they have been saved for hospitality, and if I wanted to sit in my seat it would cost me I believe £75 for a meal program and the hospitably suite, Dave said my seat is for league games only.
