    I went to the Q&A https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/Tickets/loyalty-scheme-frequently-asked-questions/

    It states:-

“Q. How many points are earned per game or product?

    A. The number of points awarded per game will depend on the category of each product. Generally speaking, points are awarded as follows:

    • Season Tickets - 200 points
    • 'We are the Bantams' membership - 100 points
    • Away Priority - 50 points [retired 2021/22]
    • 1903 Club Membership - 40 points [retired 2021/22]
    • Attending a home fixture - 20 points
    • Attending an away fixture - 20 points
    • Attending a home pre-season fixture - 10 points
Points are awarded once per ticket and/or membership and/or product, meaning you will not receive duplicate points for purchasing more than one of the same item”.

I must admit I hadn’t realised that you actually had to ‘attend’ a fixture to get the points!

Strikes me that a lot of people need to check their ‘Loyalty’ account to see if they have had the correct number issued.

I have 20 points for Northampton Town away, and 20 points for Crewe already allocated to my account. I'm betting people who have bought tickets for this womens game have 20 points on their account already.

In addition if a decision is made to wave everyone in because you have sold tickets for £5 against Colchester how the hell do you even record attendance?

Also I was at the 2 games I am missing points for anyhow.

Personally i'm not bothered enough to root through my online ticket account to work out which games may or may not be missing as I go to support City not accumulate meaningless points (The 3 local away games I've been to/am going to - Doncaster, Rochdale, Crewe - and of course Wembley should we get there - my 'points total' hasn't been at all relevant to purchase tickets.)

However, for those who are seemingly fixated/obsessed with their points totals, there have been at least two occasions this season where my ST wasn't scanned so I assume those points won't have been clocked IF they are only added for games attended not tickets purchased. What I fail to understand is though, the wording when tickets go on sale is that 20 loyalty points will be added for tickets purchased, so why does attendance matter? As @Edin Nowhere@Edin Nowhere rightly points out, there are a whole variable of reasons as to why somebody may not be able to attend, but if they've already purchased the ticket then surely that should be the points added regardless. It seems bizarre to not get any points if you buy a ticket and either a) don't attend and/or b) fail to have your ticket scanned due to a staff/technical issue.

If we take the Northampton ticket article last week for example: https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/news/2023/april/northampton-tickets-on-sale/

    The wording is:

Supporters who purchase a ticket for this encounter will receive a further 20 loyalty points, which will be applied to their online balance.

But then what's contradictory is the post @Bigrod@Bigrod refers to which states:

    • Attending an away fixture - 20 points

There are some blatant inconsistencies here which need to be cleared up.

Thanks for that. I wasn't aware that the information even existed. I suppose that's me being naive!

Interestingly there is a batch of 3* consecutive matches which I attended recently but for which no points have been added. I've no idea how that could happen since I don't recall my card not being scanned at the time. But having read other posters' comments, it appears it's not that unusual!

The club could do with reviewing its practices before fans start to lose faith in the scanning system.

*Edit - I'm missing scans for 2 games I attended; one game I was AWOL

I've emailed Ryan Sparks, today, referencing this thread, and asked him to look into the missing home points that so many people on here are reporting.

I think other issues, such as how many points are awarded and for which matches / competitions, are best left for the end of season loyalty scheme survey.

We are in midland road, and I’ve seen someone else say they are in the kop, so it’s definitely not just one faulty scanner

But if you got the 460 points for your home games (attended or other wise) keeping tabs on your total would be easy, pre season friendlies, cup games etc, but the main factor being away games you have bought tickets for, yet you may not attend, the club don't know yet no loyalty points would be deducted as they are for missing a home game, it's a bag of worms mate.
I took my Crewe ticket back as I couldn't make the midweek game, yes I'm a tight old bugger ;).

The only thing I can find on my purchase history is iFollow stuff. I have an app with my season tickets on there, so might be looking in the wrong place. Any help greatly appreciated. Why is it so difficult?

Sounds like you are logging into the BCFC website rather then the ticketing website.

The BCFC ticketing system isn't linked to the other clubs ticketing system. In a nutshell BCFC don't know if you physically attended an away game or not.

Yep - click on the three lines, top right of the BCAFC home page, then Tickets then Official Ticketing Website.
Log in once in there and you can find purchase history, loyalty points etc….

Yes, thank you I eventually found it. I have some missing, but I will need to go through my diary as I didn’t attend some matches. However, they did receive the money for my ST. It does seem a backward system, whereby you suffer a jeopardy if you don’t attend. The problem the club have is trying to accommodate what is usually oversubscribed away fans. ST holders were usually first in the queue for tickets. Fans who hadn’t bought one had to rely on ST holders or wait and hope. So now we have a system that not only do you pay for your ST but you have to attend. I haven’t been to any away games this season as it seems like too much hard work trying to work out how many points is required, but tbh honest I haven’t wanted to go, as I can watch it on iFollow.

Hopefully promotion and we will have much larger away allocations. Should be much less of an issue then.

Not so sure. I printed a full list a couple of pages back. But we took just short of 5,000 to Doncaster and well over 3,200 to Rochdale. Twelve of this seasons away games have apparently been sold out.

The following in bold look like they could sell out.

Accrington; 2300 (likely to be relegated)
    Barnsley: 4700
Bolton: 3000 (can be increased to 5000)

    Bristol Rovers: 1100
    Burton: 1400
Cambridge: 1600 (can be increased to 2600)
    Charlton: 3000
    Cheltenham: 1100
    Derby: 2700
    Exeter: 1300
    Fleetwood: 1131
    Forest Green: 1200 (plus a sheep pen)[Relegated]
    Ipswich: 1900
    Lincoln: 1000+
Milton Keynes: 3000 (plus extra capacity)
Morecambe: 1700 (likely to be relegated)
    Oxford: 5000
    Peterborough: 1800
    Plymouth: 2022
    Port Vale: 4500
    Sheffield Wednesday: 8000
    Shrewsbury: 1796
    Wycombe: 2,350

Current League 1 ‘away’ supporters capacity. https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues/england/league-one.html

If one of Salford/Stockport/Mansfield go up then again the capacity will potentially struggle to meet the needs of our travelling support.

Do you keep from one season to another? I have only 1110, but I am a few short.

Maybe they will award them to iFollow subscribers;)
