That would be an astute signing for Luton imo.

Northampton seem well organised and know what they want, though, so they'll probably get a solid replacement.

Just had a look on the ticket website, whilst on my tea break, well earned , i am soaked to the skin.
north west corner looks pretty busy , just over 200 tickets left . another 18000+ crowd incoming

I think people are buying tickets higher up due to poor weather forecasted for next 5 days.
Upper tiers of West Stand and North West Corner a lot busier than normal.

I have a feeling they will come and do a Doncaster and park the bus with 9 behind the ball, reliant on a breakaway or set piece. You may be right.

I really hope we put down a marker with a performance befitting a crowd of nearly 18,000. Would be great to have VP rocking again.

Let's hope so because the players fell way short of the big crowd expectations against Donny and Stockport.

You'd have thought in that case, with a good run some of them might try and be converted.

We were at the Stockport match and I thought their fans were louder than ours.

Well after watching the City training video last night which was farcical with the apperley bridge pitches just not soaking the rain up, I expect the team to train at VP today and tomorrow.

Very true. I've been to both and the crowds at The Saints are much larger than at The Cobblers. It's a much better ground as well.

Given the state of the training pitch, Valley Parade not being the best "drainer" and a full days rain expected today and into tomorrow, could this game be at risk from a waterlogged pitch ?

Tomorrow is light rain, petering out and Saturday is largely dry until after the game is done. It should be fine.
