I feel for the lad a bit, he's only 20, we've all made stupid decessions at that age. It's how he reacts and moves forward is when we should start judging him.

He’s reacted by doing it again pending his court appearance. Once chance , fine but to do it again is stupidity first class. He can go and no later than today.

I’d classify it as a gambling addiction. From what I’ve read, large amounts of money passes hands. The lad needs help and some time out of the game (football) to get his head together. Of course it’s a viscous circle. No income = need for money. His old man should concentrate on helping his son, instead of bitching on social media. Probably washes his hands of him now he’s no longer a football “super star”.

I'm not sure the general public would agree with you. A stupid decision at that age could be a drunken brawl on a night out, a speeding offence, use of recreational drugs etc all of which probably would be accepted and not considered career threatening. Consciously going out to cause animal cruelty (repeatedly) in the nation of animal lovers that we are is on a par with child abuse and other more serious offences and I'm not sure, for this reason any club will want to be tarnished by his name and past offending.

No other option really considering he's still doing it. Lad needs to ask serious questions of himself.

I’m guessing Huddersfield agreed to this so relations weren’t strained for the two clubs. Maybe as compo for our time they should make sure they don’t recall Critchow…

It seems as a collective football fans are a bit self righteous when it comes to the rights and wrongs, and who should never put on a shirt again.

I bet if you either dig deep enough, or were honest enough you'd find these things go on much closer to home than you think.

Would you ostrasize a member of your family for doing the same thing or something equally as stupid as some of the "on a par" with crimes listed on the these last few pages?

    Bye Kian.

EDIT: The Town fans found all the photos and videos of Kian, fully tagged, on a Facebook group.

Let's just say the lad is not the brain of Britain, and good riddance.

Posts of him asking if 'anyone wants a match' and lots of pictures of dead hares, as well as chase videos.

Nobody expects them to recall Critchlow do they? They've been burnt once before by sending him to L1 halfway through a loan spell just to sit on the bench. Wont be anywhere near the first team either, they have 6 CBs on the books who've played first team football this season, along with a few lads who've gained bench spots from U23 games, and another CB on loan at Wigan after a successful spell at Rotherham on loan last season, he's more likely to go back than Critchlow at a guess.

To put your remark into context. A former colleague at work, son went for a night out. Apparently outside a club, he intervened in an argument between a man and a woman. A fight broke out. The lad hit the man, who fell back, fractured his skull and died. He was convicted of murder (although I would have thought it was manslaughter) and sentenced to a life sentence. No intent to commit a crime, unlike Harratt, who would know that Hare Coursing is an offence and despite being charged, continued with the activity. It is called recidivism!

Hi Guys, Vale fan in peace.
This happened while he was at Vale. He seemed a decent sort but turns out he's a wrong Un. I'm glad that City have terminated his loan and the consensus amongst Vale fans seems to be the same as on here. He has to go. He was a fan favourite but this kind of activity belongs in the Rees-Moog not Modern day Britain.
Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season and hope to see you in L1 next year

At Port vale his record of 4 goals in 20 (mostly subs) is fair. Will walk into a L2 club IMO as his parent club has a highly respected academy.

his lack of gametime at City isnt a reflection of his ability as we play one upfront. The first choice striker is one of the top scorers in the league and our big money summer striker signing is next in line. So its understandably he’s not made an impact here.

Its his character that would be a stumbling block to any move IMO, but I do still think a desperate club will take a punt because, if released, there is no fee involved, low wages, and they can cut him lose after possibly end of season if he fails to impress.

Mine might be an unpopular view but if he hadnt been on loan here and was released by Town, it wouldn’t bother me if we signed him. We’ve had armed robbers and wifebeaters who got given a second chance. Yeah he’s broken the law, but to me, if it was just letting a few dogs chase a few hares, it isn’t enough of a crime to hang him out to dry and end his career like a rapist, murderer or paedo would deserve. If they have been threatening farmers and wrecking property and stuff, though, then that changes everything.

We don’t know the ins and outs do we.

Either way, he needs to change his ways, obviously, but the courts will punish him as appropriate and he needs to think a bit more about who he knocks around with. He’s probably got one more chance in the League…….

Well on the brightside Jake Young should get some more opportunities in the matchday squad now.

Young has looked good off the bench earlier in the season - not so good starting, but useful as an impact sub perhaps.

In any event, neither are likely to get too many look ins as Oliver & Angol seem to be the preferred options.

We have lots of options in his position, so not bothered in that respect. I hope that Huddersfield sack him too
