I'm sure I just heard on the radio that the period of mourning will be until 7 days after the funeral which may be in 10 days time.

My daughter is due to get married on Thursday 22nd September. This will be the fourth attempt, after three cancellations - two for Covid and one due to our grandson falling ill. I won't be responsible for my actions if it gets called off for a fourth time because of the Queen's death.

 

I think that will be nailed on with regards the BBC, just buy a subscription for Netflix, HBO or Disney.

 

Already do, I don’t watch bbc at all other than occasionally match of the day on iplayer to be honest.
My general point remains, I hope tomorrows game does go ahead both for personal (selfish) reasons and also for people who rely on these events for income.
I’m looking forwards to a rare day out with all my kids together.

 

I've tickets and transport booked for both the Mansfield and Tranmere games our first away days of the season, just hope we can make the rearranged dates.

Yes the queen died , it’s sad but the period of mourning shouldn’t be enforced upon everyone.
For many people their only outlet after working all week is going to sporting events. Who’s gonna take care of their mental health when now they have to cancel all their plans and potentially sit at home doing nothing

OOhhh i'm missing a football match, whatever will i do? Heres some advice and i don't really care if it sounds condescending. There are a lot more important things in life than a football match. You'll find that out one day.

 

In the past when a game has been postponed and you could make the original game but can't make the rearranged one, which I think will be safe to say that of the 1,700 tickets sold not everyone can get to Mansfield on a Tuesday as easy as they could on a Saturday. Trains for one as I bet you can't get back to Bradford from Mansfield via train after a night game.

Do you just return your ticket to BCAFC for a full refund no questions asked?

 

I’m not saying this is affecting me but I think you’ve just summed up in your throwaway dismissive sentence why there’s a lack of understanding of mental health issues.
What might seem trivial and unimportant to 1 person might be crisis for another.
