    His first goal last night has been massively underrated. That was absolutely top drawer from the first touch taking him away from his man to the very controlled finish. Superb stuff.

    Still a lot of learning to do for Jake and he'll be hit and miss but we've definitely got a player there if we can help him achieve his potential.

    Not sure you can blame the service he's getting, Ridehalgh and Halliday have hardly covered themselves in glory with their crossing so far this season.
    The lad got a start last night and had two very good chances the header at the Bradford End he should have hit the target and made the keeper work and the attempt in the second half where he made a complete hash of it.
    He will get his chance and will get goals unfortunatly when you have a fellow striker scoring then it makes if difficult when he gets his chance and doesn't score or make an assist.
    isn't it's great that Hughes has that option of bringing in/on a striker who has scored for his club in the past, I'm not writing Oliver off his time will come.

    Yes, it was his best game so far Dave. The bend in the shot was equally as good as Banks’ s goal from the other side at Hartlepool . The length of contract for several of the young players says they are here for development for sure. I was very impressed by Odusina’s debut in the same vein.

    Can’t knock him on last night, however is he better than Haliday, marginally no. I do think Foulds is worth a spot over Ridehalgh at the moment though. Ridehalgh is not playing as well as last season…probably because hes missing Vernam.

    Yes absolutely, but why play him? He started off well but he’s deteriorating game by game, especially at home. That could be opposition tactics at play?. He’s certainly not the player of last season, whatever the reason.

    Think the guy deserves a bump, far from a great footballer but he does what it says on the tin, and that's all we need at this level. Credit where it's due to the guy but all he's doing is doing what he's done all his career at this level.

    yes definitely agree the supply line is not quite right yet for sure, but despite the supply currently being poor Cook is still managing to find the net, imagine how many he could score if that supply line up their game??
