He's right though. What assets do the club have apart from the players and coaches? Say Rupp wants 10mill for us... What exactly is the 10mill getting you? A stadium that is leased and is going to cost money on top of what you’ve paid and a contract at Woodhouse Grove.. Again... Something we will be paying annually for. We don’t actually have anything worth buying.
We are not worth anywhere near 10million pounds. Apart from some fixtures and fittings then I dont see what potential buyer would think they were getting for their money.

Repeating the fact gets us nowhere, but as the topic is about purchasing the club…The only asset worth anything would be in a higher division with a successful football team, big crowds and high commercial sponsorship activity. In layman’s terms don’t they call it “ goodwill “. Quantitative only by continual success on the playing field.

We don't train at a school. We train at facilities owned by or located at a school. We don't have the team shining up the ropes and inching along balancing beams, playing benchball by turning benches on their sides....

If you're going to be tediously boring and repetitive you could at least say the right thing.

We had three strikers on for the second half but no real way to supply them. You can tell when it's desperate when players are crossing balls from closer to the halfway line than the byline. Ridehalgh is a decent crosser and at his best whipping first time balls in but was having to put them in from in front of the fullback. Halliday doesn't look like a crosser.

 

Yeah Halliday was a big disappointment to me. I think as well thats why I was so disappointed with Sutton because he has the pace to go past the full back but didn't

 

It’s always difficult when team sit so deep we were to slow in the build up but we do have players that can open up teams Such as Walker and Chapman and Young who is quick and direct.
