Cant beat a good bit of Beaver. At his age and experience I'd take him over Paudie.

 

Think he was discussing Timi Odusina from Hartlepool who is the more likelier to be on our radar than Beever from Posh

 

Don't take this the wrong way because there's no underlying message in it, and I'm not racist in the slightest, but I would absolutely love a big black centre half in the mould of Bruno or Joe Cooke. I've always wanted us to sign Aaron Pierre, big hard bastards at the back with attitude are what a team is built on.

 

Walsall fans think we have signed George Miller (ST) and Emmanuel Osedebe (CM).

 

Very much doubt we will have signed Miller after yesterday’s announcement

 

I dont want to be dramatic but these two
players wouldn’t be good enough for what we want to be achieving.

 

Depends...might be trying to offload Cook.

Or may see Jake Young as a wide forward rather than a centre forward.

 

I dont know enough about Osadebe. Whats his limitations?

Odusina? Different position and rumour yesterday was we've signed them both.

 

Its been a strange 4 weeks, how many of the rumour itk’s have been right? How many of the recruits were out of the blue….All of them?

 

Id heard Harratt whispered a few hours before it was announced. Rest of them caught most by surprise. Lewis, Young, East, Platt...apart from Daily Mail and photo leaks nobody mentioned them at all.

Walker was possible all along I suppose.

 

Yer, I was wondering if Young might be one of three behind a central forward. I guess it depends on Vernam's decision. Also nice that there are those options with Young.

 

As many as are normally right every year I'd guess! All good fun though init?

 

I would love Vernam to sign a new deal Bots, but this decision of his is dragging on for too long now, if the club haven't given him a deadline, it's time they did.
Sign on the dotted line or move on.

 

I like the business so far, in advance, the right ages and good experience.

 

Flipping the coin though Miller's stats and experience are way beyond Young and Harratt at this moment in time and Osadebe has around 150 more appearances at this level than Ryan East.

All the young lads we are taking have never been first choice at league clubs so there is definitely a risk element over the more experienced pros.

Having said that though, the upside potential is far above what we could achieve with some of the experienced lads so hopefully, if the scouting is good, these lads give us a much higher ceiling.

I think, so far, careful optimism seems a pretty fair reflection.

 

I'd be surprised if he was on that but yes I would say he is worth having in the squad. All about opinions but I like Levi and what he brings to the team hardworking, when confident good going forward with the ball and comes across as a good lad.
