    Jon, pre season gets out those with aspirations for the new season. As the season progresses (and we ultimately fail under Rupp) many go quiet/post less.

    Jon this will be only Sparks second full season as CEO he took over the club when it was in a financial hole and has guided us through an unprecedented pandemic. He doesn’t have an owner who is putting extra money in every penny which is spent is having to be raised. And I think he is doin

    What an entertaining team that was. You would turn up to watch them and wonder how many we were going to win by.

    I know we have played at higher levels with better players, but still my favourite City side of all time

    I agree with you.

    If we do well this season, he won't have done too bad of a job overall.

    But you have to admit, thus far, it's a case of recovering from a series of disappointing outcomes.

    Let's leave it there and get on with supporting our club. Hopefully there is something to celebrate this season, and we're all happy.

    Sunderland have released their retained list and upto now jack diamond is still under contract, personally I can't see him getting too much game time at the SOL.
    A few interesting names that were released are Jordan willis and arbenit xhemajli both centrehalfs who if they have recovered from injury would be outstanding in league two

    Harry Chapman, 24, right winger released by Blackburn. Had a poor spell last term on loan at Burton but the season before scored 9 goals in 36 for Shrewsbury at L1 level. Oh and he came through Boro youth so Mr Gent will be well aware of his abilities and potential.

    Might be someone on our radar.

    My friends at Sunderland say both ourselves &Harrogate have asked about Jack Diamond on loan a permanent move
    Both have been told if he is going out on loan that it will be to a league 1 club now they have been promoted and is still in there plans for the future
