Where has the |Cooke rumour come from.
He has not played much lately, sub from the bench, maybe making sure he does not get an injury.
He is probably the only saleable asset we have.

 

Watt is also but he will be sold as well.

 

My first thought when Cooke was benched was that he’s got something lined up for January and the club don’t want him injured.

Sell Cooke, Vernam, Canavan or Cook and replace with a lad from the sixth tier, an Austin Samuels/Rumarn Burrell or an out of favour player from Walsall or Harrogate and any scrap of credibility Sparks or Rupp have left will disappear.

 

I would be surprised if both were sold , but if that is the case lets hope the money is re-invested wisely, for once.
I don't think either have set the division alight so far.

Understand sustainability in football doesn't work. When the CEO uses the word strongly and the owner doesn't give a f@ck then this club is done with.

Not going to happen. If he's sold this is a money grab, pure and simple.

 

I think clubs will have to become sustainable. The cash cow will surely come to an end . Chelsea losses of £145 million after wining the European cup and £1 billion into Abramohvic, just shows the madness of it all.

 

Does anyone know Cooke's goals and assists record this season?

 

Probs unfair comparison though considering he’s about 20+ ahead on chances created in league 1&2 than anybody else, unfortunately he’s supplying robinson and lavery!

 

I like Cooke, but he has no end product goal wise and for an attacking midfielder, that's no good. Maybe he want's away and if his replacement scores more than a couple of goals, that's an improvement.

Chelsea spent 220.3m on transfers that isn't a club thinking about being sustainable. It doesn't work in football.

 

Owing one of the owners company's £1billion is silly and goes to show the madness that is the football world.
Thats more than two years of their turnover. He is not going to as he is a crackpot, but what would happen if he wanted his money back, he isn't going to walk away from it. The premier league ,most of the players and most of the clubs owners are all about greed, the European super league a fine example. These guys are destroying football .
The game is so far away from when i was a kid , i hardly recognise it.
I understand things have to change and adapt, but i think it's gone too far.

 

In 112 senior appearances Cooke has scored 10 goals, including 3 for us, one of which was a penalty.
