If letting Cooke and Watt go in January generates enough cash to bring in players who maybe aren't as pleasing on the eye but are more effective in League Two is that a bad thing?

I've read Stevenage are signing Peterborough keeper Christy Pym on loan for the rest of the season as soon as the window opens.

That's a great signing for them, very experienced keeper at this level.

I hope we've got a couple of things pre-agreed or close to being agreed.

I reckon there will be a lot of loan players available given the Championship sides have limited themselves to British players rather than EU players of late.

Rotherham have some decent players who are potentially available for loan, and seems like similar noises are being made by a few Championship and League One clubs.

 

Ironically Cook was an out of favour Mansfield player just 12 months ago.
