    Yeah on paper he's decent, in the last game against Spennymoor, the red card he got was a joke, he was literally throtteld to the ground and pushed the player off him, to which the player embarrassingly went down like he'd been knocked out. You can't really see it in the highlights, if you go to Charman's Twitter page under the refs are a shambles tweet, other people have tweeted what happened to him in a photo. However yes a striker with a bit of bite is better than a Guthrie who isn't bothered. For me however Dos Santos is the one I'd love us to give a shot to. Shame someone can't recommend him or have that email address that you used to be able to send player info on to recommend players on to.

    Hopefully it wasn’t Sikora up at Spennymore. Or maybe Sikora tipped us off about him? (All guesswork, no idea if Sikora played in that game)

    Sikora had been recalled before that game. His last game for Spennymoor was Dec 11th in a 4-2 win against Chester.

    From their forum,

    2 English clubs showing interest in Byrne. Really hope we can get him signed up to a new deal. He’s been a big player for us over last few season and was our best performer before injury. He’s been missed massively lately

    Byrne is quality, one of the many excellent signings in the Mcpake era.

    Also picked up on Wikipedia that he gained 2 promotions through the Scottish Championship playoffs with Livingston and Dundee, so fits the Adams winner player profile type.

    If anyone wants an idea of what he's like, all I could find was this, 4 mins 27 in, looks composed at least.

    Maybe, he hasn't played since October.

    Doesn't score goals, but Dundee have offered him a new deal.

    Wonder if he'd be a replacement for Watt given he doesn't score any goals.

    On 16 October, Byrne suffered ligament damage in his knee during a 2–1 win at home to Aberdeen. Although having been able to avoid surgery, his timescale for recovery was set between six and twelve weeks.
