Roger, today was as bad as the fare you and I watched over fifty years ago, in the old Paddock. It's now two wins in the last eighteen games. This manager has a league win rate of less than 30%. I know what you'd have had to say about such statistics fifty years, but am aware your circumstances are different now. So, I'll say it for you, but in much milder terms - 'IT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!".

Maybe I'm being unfair.

I understand "problems that contribute to the outcome", our limitations and understand our current injury situation but we seem to have reasons (excuses) readily available? It's becoming tiring, we'll in my eyes....

Two players short? Which positions? Assume we bring in the two, give me a feel on how our team would look like come January..

Maybe my aspirations are too high? Maybe, I should look elsewhere for my Saturday afternoon entertainment. After 35 years, I'm just not enjoying my bradford city experience.

in the summer we aimed for better than top seven, yeah, but the goalposts now need changing.

we didnt back Adams properly in the last window, Adams hasnt been happy with the recruitment structure and we’ve lost ground during a sticky run because the quality in our squad isn’t good enough.

If anyone seriously thinks Adams needs sacking they don’t have a clue about football. They shouldnt waste time posting on this forum or even bothering with the sport.

We need a more clinical striker, when you look at the goals we have scored we are relying too much on other players to pitch in. I do however realise that injury’s have contributed to who we can actually play.
We also need another midfielder who can break up play and pass the ball. We can’t rely on Songo as he may be needed in central defence should we have an injury.
Other opinions are welcome?

 

He helped relegate Northampton back in 2018 so maybe he felt he owed them a favour

 

I think he was rooted to his goal line because they had unmarked men in the box he couldn’t really win. Agree with his catching one of his punches he could easily have caught it no pressure on him at the time. Poor all round performance again Callum Cooke rather disappointing it’s going to be a long long season.

Given that all season tickets are included, I think that was about right.
Where we sit in Midland Road we could see lots of full seats in the Upper main stand. I think lots of the people in these are free tickets offered to schoolchildren and their parents. I know our neighbours were offered tickets for this game.

 

Yes there were. Heard a few behind us talking. Woman behind us got to 40 mins and said to her mate she didn’t even know we were playing, lol.

its a good scheme though, i remember football in the community coming into school when i was a kid. Dirt cheap tickets to get them in.
