    Shocks wearing off a bit, still not convinced but like I said earlier if this appointment had been made within a week of Grayson leaving it would have been a hell of a lot more palatable. Waiting 7 weeks is bollocks, with all the comments from the club implying a big appointment rather than an internal promotion.

    The coaching team have my backing, I hope they do well but Rahic needs to do something miraculous now to get faith back from the fans or things will rapidly get more toxic

    haha, what the hell is a 'skegness'?!

    take the level out and look at solely coaching careers and there are many similarities in how the appointment came about.

    So people saying the appointment is a shambles, wanting to wake up tomorrow and it be a dream, wanting the owners gone, they are supporting him??

    Heard the interview with Collins on Radio Leeds earlier. He sounds a very confident young man, that's for sure, and spoke very eloquently about coaching methods, and how he will bring his own ideas to the training ground. He went on to speak about knowing for a while which players they are pursuing, and looking forward to working with the current squad.
    I will certainly back him 100%, and hopefully he is able to prove us all wrong. I just have that nagging doubt that it will be too big a job, too soon in his coaching career.

    He is what he is. He's played at several clubs under different managers; he has gone down the coaching route as a career but despite his qualifications, his career to date (all 12 months of it coaching our U-18 squad) is barely worthy of a mention. And tellingly,he has no experience as a first team head coach. But at this stage, as you say, he does deserve our support.

    But that support shouldn't go unqualified. Rahic selected him with his own eyes wide open. I doubt he has pulled the wool over Rahic's eyes by exaggerating his credentials or by bullshitting him. It was Rahic's call and nobody else's. If it transpires that he either isn't up to the job or isn't supported to do the job to the best of his ability then the responsibility rests with Rahic and Rahic alone. This is Rahic's game and imo he will deserve the brickbats or the plaudits depending on the performance of his new head coach and time really will tell.

    Rahic has pretty much got what he's wanted now.
    I don't want BCAFC to fail under any circumstances.
    I hope his "vision" works, I really do.
    If not, he's probably given himself enough rope to metaphorically hang himself with.
