Good interview that he comes accross very well

 

He wouldn't give too much thought to what he was saying. He is 100% bullshit. I hope Collins is successful but you don't have to think too hard why someone already at the club is given the job when we have spent weeks talking to so many outstanding applicants.

We spent something like 7 years in the 4th division and were near to going out of the league. During that time, virtually every manager and player came across well. Prefer to wait and see what is done on the pitch these days.

Yeah, experienced managers getting overlooked for an unknown with 12 months experience with the youth team. I wonder why?

To be fair, if he is allowed to, he might do a good job. He isn't the one that worries me. If things don't go well though, he will take the blame.

 

Yes looking forward to the seasons rollercoaster - hopefully not to many dips - so I am in the trepidation camp but will we hear the sound of Michael Collins Bradford army being sung as he coaches a team to take us up into the top positions of the league table? We must not forget this the aspirational 3rd season that owner wanted promotion.

Bet he feels quite good. He has 3 years in which to find a proper job.

 

I don’t know of any city fans who do not want Collins and co to be successful. We can only judge him on how he performs with the team and wish them every success. If it doesn’t go well and even if we get relegated I most certainly will not be blaming him.

Oh no that crown goes to Edin and Stefan, they had a plan and one they are determined to implement without question. They are most certainly in this for money, forget any notion they might be the same as fans they are not. I do hope fans on here will try and find out how the finances are looking, because as things stand at the moment I do not trust them, no way. However, if they fail, their business goes with it. No doubt we will be left to pick up the pieces again!

I heard a rumour awhile ago about them buying this club by instalments, and that those payments 4 I think we’re coming out the club’s profit? Is this legal? I know GR borrowed a million to buy this club and paid it back out of profit the club made. He got to own the club because he was prepared to take the risk.

These sort of appointments can and do work from time to time. I think Eddie Howe was a similar age and Bournemouth did ok.

 

Obviously not us. Edin decided an U18s coach with 12 months experience is exactly what we need. I'd be surprised if he even applied for the job, more like given it when no one else would touch it with a barge pole.

 

who knows Rogered our 32 year old coach - may be a future England coach - hopefully a position gained while guiding City up the leagues!

 

There is no way on this earth we have made enough profit for the owners to pay for the club via profit.

Since Edin put his life savings into the purchase, that would demonstrate he's paid money from his own pocket. Stefan must have put money into his trainset too.

Paying in installments, is very possible though.

 

Instalments are probably the only way the previous owners could sell, alternatively it could have been their option for tax planning reasons
