I was impressed with him after 10 minutes. I think I posted the same during the game? Mind you I was on the Stella! Seriously he looked to have a calm head!

Definitely worth some match time in preseason to see how he goes.

 

I agree but some people want him in the team when his positioning was poor at times

 

Guys when i was talking to Conor McAleny last week i joked Salford will be after you & he said they were interested in him when RICHIE WELLENS was the manager, thats when i joked get your arse to Bradford City

If Wellens does become our manager then surley hes gonna wanna bring Conor right?
Lets hope so, the lad has proven he can score now at Oxford, In Scotland and one of the divisions top scorers in a very poor Oldham side,

Thats if he doesnt go up to league 1 club although he did say if the offer is right he will stay down a divison for City

Difficult to judge in preseason though, as we saw with Tim (Yaya) Dieng. He really should have been getting minutes once the play offs were out of reach and had T&S blooded him and maybe even another (if one was ready obviously), perhaps there'd have been more understanding from supporters over poor results and maybe a little more leeway over performances.

I thought whilst not on his own that he was poor in the last few matches lost his personal battle against some decent centre halves 100% for effort though

 

Yeh they did but didn't take it up.

He didn't seem to do as much in and around the box in the last few games, so I agree he wasn't as imapctful. I thought he'd do OK with Cooke but I didn't see much connection.

I was a bit disappointed against Morecambe with a number of crosses flying in that he didn't get on the end of more of them.

He just seemed to go off the boil like many others.

Yep, I'd be thinking twice about signing him. Showed his true colours when subbed on Saturday. Getting players with the right character is all important. Phil Parkinson used to ram home the importance of it.
