    We are in for a central midfielder who has just been promoted from L2 but is out of contract. Not naming him as not fair on City.

    Young lad, early 20’s. Has played regularly this year but now team has gone up dunno they will offer him a new deal.

    Interesting, been told we have made contact with a midfielder at Colchester who used to play for Wolves - so would appear we are in for atleast one CM.

    Says on transfermarkt it expires this year, but Cheltenhams own website says it was a 2 year deal.

    either way has to be good, got two promotions on his CV at 20.

    I think we can safely say TransferMarkt is incorrect.

    He signed a two year deal, and Lincoln have a couple of clauses as part of his deal.

    Whoever it is we're after, its imperative we sign a ball winning midfielder this summer. The fact that we've gone three years without one is scandalous.

    I wouldn't worry if I was him, he can come here and sign a six year deal, it doesn't matter because we're just as likely to loan him to a team in our division and pay him to fire them to L1.

    Either way, he still ends up better off.
