Trueman and Sellars - permanent deal

I'd imagine there are clauses built in, one of which will surely be, an automatic extension if they achieve promotion. A brilliant incentive for them and us.

The big difference been we were only run professionally then due to the manager, before Parkinson it felt pretty cello taped together. This time the professionalism stems from above the management level, so we have building blocks in place when a manager leaves for everything not to collapse again.

Completely agree, it keeps costs down to what is still exceptional value for money while also raising important revenue to help keep the positive momentum going. Could help bring in an extra player or add support staff behind the scenes. It's a win win in my book.

What’s with this ‘again’? - must have been before my 40 years service.

 

They have got the best out of this team, I think they deserve this based on recent results.

Looks we have finally got the right structure, which is begging to take shape, background staff, excellent recruitment, players on the pitch delivering results.

Might be a bit too late for this season, but the future looks far better for next. Who knows we might be back in the stands to witness something good again.
