Cheers Botswana Bantam.....a lot of us aren't really sure what we're doing up there at the moment (we thought we were nailed on for a mid-table place) so it's all a bit unreal. But today's performance was the best in months. Anyway we'll keep the discussion to Bradford! Based on form of last 6 games I have you 3rd in the table and we're second so not a bad way to end dreary January.

One of the most appealing things about M&S is that their experience has always been in developing young players. To bring in the likes of Canavan and Rowe particularly, the club has brought in true role models who because of their personalities, will generously pass on a huge amount to this rare legion of young players we have coming through. Can you remember when we last had such a group of young players who seem capable of doing a real job for us, rather than being constantly loaned out to National League and National League North teams?

The key thing is look at the bench. With Burrell, Staunton, Novak and Hosannah. With games stacked up squads will count

AOC will be off in the summer. And I hope he does well wherever he goes.

Novak and Staunton won't be sitting on any benches for a few weeks yet so lets not get carried away

True but the transfer window is shut v soon. But we get two first teamers back in a few months for the tail end and everyone of the bench could slot in without us worrying too much.

Oops T&S! Mate, crack a good red. It's a long journey to the end of the season, but so many reasons to be cheerful - for the first time in a very long time. My positivism is rising for the first time in ages. And in Danny Rowe, we have the most exciting signing for years.

Its time we sorted out left back, Wood goes missing time and time again, the sooner Stauntons back the better. He is a weak link this season, I think transfer talk has gone to his head. Last season I thought he was one of our better players, not this season

You're right, a long way to go which I hope will turn out to be a good thing. What I liked about today, whereas we didn't look pretty, we battled and battled as a team. Moment of the game for me, an 18 year old punching the ground after he had done an outstanding piece of defending.

Don't get me wrong I love all the positivity after the last few years of complete dross. I'm actually looking forward to games again and engaging with all things BCFC. It's great.
BUT we need to.keep our feet on the ground. Whilst we're all in a good mood we need to keep perspective. Otherwise one defeat will see an overreaction similar to whats starting to happen here.
We've a lot of tough games coming up and we aint gonna win them all. But it won't be the end of the world.

So statistically we should be looking at a defeat in the near future, says he as a realist. If it happens (and surely it will) then the thing to do is ‘bounce back’.

Yes, absolutely agree. But let's enjoy these victories and good steps forward in the meantime. The last few years have been so dross and awful for us, it's just a joy to look forward to games with hope.

Bloody hell Bigrod, enjoy the moment! We haven't had much to celebrate over the past couple of years. Yes, new challenges to come, but right now, we're doing more than ok.

It was an uncomfortable afternoon, that, but happy we ground it out.

Thought we looked dodgy at the back and can see Canavan replacing AOC - they needed a reason to start NC and AOCs sloppy performance today was it.

Clarke had another quiet game and Stevens offered little. Maybe we may still be in for another wide man.

Nice to see Rowe bag again - he has that instinct doesn’t he. If it was 40k we paid that’s absolute steal.
