Just feels better I think because of how bad we’ve been. Nice draw and a clean sheet but let’s not kid ourselves, very little in terms of attacking quality

 

3 weeks ago you would have been happy with that point. Now it seems your expectations are raised somewhat. Onwards we go.

 

Slightly disappointed not to win that, thought we were the better side and had the better chances - just lacked that quality and composure in the final third.

3 conceded in 5 is excellent form considering we were leaking like a sieve under McCall. But only 5 scored in 5 shows where the immediate attention in January needs to be.

Feels like two points dropped but was predicting a draw as we can’t win everytime. Thought we played the better football under tricky conditions. Delivered some great balls into box but no one is getting on end of them.

After 75 wanted to see them play a diamond and put Don on to go for it but they were happy to take a point.

frustrated as it was there for the taking but if adjusting system had opened us up would have been gutted, and maybe points like this will be key in the finish to the season.

defended well - don’t think Hornby made a save? FCD is still learning and Cooke’s shooting was off, but generally a solid display.

They’ve made us tough to breakdown and we’ve sacrificed a bit going forward, so many games will be tight.

 

2 points dropped on the face of it. Feel if we had a Kyel Reid type player we’d have buried them. Everything was played in front of them. Hopefully 4/5 additions next month can turn results and matches like that into all 3 points.

T&S now have plenty of time with the lads on the training ground and plenty of time to work on the January window with LT.

Spot on. Turnbull indicated one or two signings - will they be of sufficient quality to make up for our shortcomings - not confident. We need to off load Guthrie another no show tonight - injured? Longridge the eternal bench warmer - what is he adding or we waiting for Wood to be transferred. BRE and DMH too should be looking for other clubs too.

I think DMH needs to go, even on loan, because he's so far off the standard he's wasting his and our time. Guthrie will be harder to offload, I think he may be here until his contract is up. I fancy our chances of getting rid of BRE for some reason. Enough crap sides in the North of England to take him.

BRE will get a club in conference that plays route one. He’s a big unit and with a fresh start im sure there’s someone who needs a big CB that would at least consider him.

we need to make it clear he’ll rot if he doesn’t go.

we offloaded mclean, josh wright, omari patrick etc, so sure we can shift him.

DMH may be trickier. He’s shown nothing, ever. He’s not a footballer.

I was told BRE has a place in Birmingham not far from where he was stopped by WMP, hopefully Tamworth, Solihull, Kidderminster or Leamington or someone will pick him up.

 

Thought we played well, could've won but not too disappointed with a point.

Hornby - looked decent although wasn't really tested. Think his kicking is better than ROD but ROD is the better shot stopper and all-round the better of the 2.
Cousin-Dawson - his best game so far, however he looks quite slow, couple of times their winger breezed past him but overall played well. Still think we need Hosannah back or bring someone in asap.
AOC, Sutton, Novak - thought they were all very good. Can't really fault any of them though tonight.

We do need far better options of the bench. We have an almost fully fit squad and only Evans was able to get on the pitch.

 

Is that stuff any good?my fave ever stout is the draught stout in the porterhouse pub in Covent Garden but not found anything close, the bottled ones always seem a bit lacking

 

I still think (flame territory) Guthrie deserves a bit more of a chance, as for DMH, I knew he was guff inside the first 60 seconds of seeing him shuffle down the wing 2 season or so ago.

 

I’ve heard Amazon are looking for a new delivery driver, he could try there.

 

Guthrie has gone 14 months without scoring a goal, why does he deserve a bit more of a chance, National league player at best
