Is it unreasonable to want to know what is happening whether it is good news or bad?

We had weeks of speculation with only one update via the B.B. interview. The timescale was given last week. We are now a further week on and still no appointment. I think the fans have been incredibly patient. Obviously we can’t have hourly updates, but periodically we should have updates as to where we are in the process. It is alright ppl on here complaining about the Mail writing articles without solid evidence, but the club are leaving themselves wide open to this speculation and potentially further disgruntlement. We were promised changes as they had heard and lessons had been learnt, I guess the lack of communication wasn’t a lesson they needed.

And this is from the guy who said in the interview with Tom & Dom he thought we should have more open conversation, he also passed a similar comment at the fans forum.

Seems like we are still in the same position as I was told last weekend. We had a German lined up incase it all went wrong. Looks like we are at that point almost now.

That article is basically just rehashing what was in the Mail and suggesting it was us that approached all those names mentioned, rather than any of them actually applying for the post. If that's true, what's to say none of them were actually interested in the city job in the first place because they are either happy where they are, or not interested in returning to work at this point in time (which appears to be the case with Heckingbottom at least).

 

This is like an episode of Black Mirror. A great example of what happens when you give a group of idiots a keyboard and a Twitter account. I'm now treating it is a comedic social experiment for entertainment purposes only until the World Cup starts. Past caring who the actual coach is going to be.

 

Or ownership of a football club.

 

The sooner that the masses wake up to what a horrendous mess Rahic is making of our club the better.

I say ‘masses’, but I think it’s a minority that are blindly following and ignorant or what’s happening tbf.

 

Until I see proof with my own eyes that Edin is a total idiot I'll reserve my judgement. So far all I can see are increasingly-ridiculous rumours and a Daily Mail article (which amounts to the same thing).

 

It’s before your very eyes. The regression of the club is obvious. Players downing tools. Ex managers speaking out. Journalists speaking out. I’ve had numerous conversations with people close to the club - the tale is consistent.

They’re ruining us. We’ll go down next season.

 

Close to the club? Wouldn't be those who are just a bit miffed that the wind of change has blown and they've found themselves out in the cold? Don't have a clue either way but change always brings about resistence, doesn't mean anything's 'wrong'. If this appointment and the football that comes with it is dire I'll change my mind but I've been around long enough to know when to take things with a pinch of salt.

 

That "Report" is simply someone that has read the Mail Article and decided to report it in different wording on his own Article, it brings nothing new that isn't already "Supposedly Fact" in the Mail Article.

The Mail Article/Report is also a bunch of rumours thrown together into a piece of poor Journalism that is purely there for the click bait and Ad revenue, The Mail also seem to have some form of problem with us and seem to like picking up on any negativity around the club.

No. People who have nothing to gain from the club either way really, but who have professional and personal affection for it.

Change can be unsettling but it isn't really about that.

Put it this way, I'm concerned for our future. And if you offered Lawn and Rhodes the chance to go back and make a different decision, I'm certain they would.
