Yep, i thought Oldham have financial problems but it didn't stop them signing Danny Rowe, the prolific striker from Fylde who i wouldn't have minded City having a look at.

Now that Grimsby single handedly decided to announce that they had called off a game before consulting the EFL and they got away with it, why would anyone else try and play a game??? Stupid from Tranmere. If I were them I'd have said "we had covid cases or players with symptoms, we're not playing, if you don't like it, tough, you did nowt against Grimsby so that's your precedent set"

 

I do know town got promoted with a negative GD.. pretty sure its the only club to do so.

He is on big money at Oldham I think....he was on £6k- £7k at Fleetwood so I was told.

 

Not sure Grimsby have got away with it, The EFL have a ongoing investigation in to the circumstances and may very well issue a punishment which in extreme could be a points deduction but more probably a suspended fine.

 

Ideally they should play the game with players registered at the time of the game
