I never saw this quote...but similar comments have been made before, yet the Rhodes family were just as much a part of it all in the summer of 2000 as G.R was, yet he was painted as the bogey man. If they weren’t part of it, then it just shows their business acumen.

I see nothing wrong talking about Parker, Rupp and Rhodes etc if it's linked to transfers.

I’d say we “were”, not “are”. There are people behind the scenes still trying to right the wrongs of Rahic. We still have some deadwood from his legacy and have been down in L2 for one full season.

Thing are picking up - granted slowly, but picking up nonetheless. I feel we’re on the right track and slowly turning around the oil tanker.

 

We're back to where we were when Parky first took over, this ship hasn't been turned round yet. The corona virus came at the right time for us, we were going backwards quickly. We weren't in any danger of going down but we'd definitely have ended up in the bottom half, that last game at Salford before lockdown didn't have one positive of any note. Its gonna take a manager longer than 12 months to turn this lot around.

 

We're actually back where we were when I started supporting City in 1965-66. About 10th in the Fourth Division.

Yes. After the competition, went to San Antonio with friends. A number of times, I wore a world cup willie t shirt. Wingers - DMH, Pritchard, Ismael + 2 = 5
Strikers - Novak, Don, Guthrie, Clarke + 2 = 6

5+6 = 11

I'd suggest another 2 on top of that!!! Hopefully he taps into loan market when PL announce their squads. I'm all for a tight knit squad, boosted by youth but I would definitely say another MF as a bare minimum.
