The backlash worries me as much as the approach to the BLM crusade. If it were genuinely about a quest to end racism through a balanced discussion and education of history, we might get somewhere. But it isnt. And the media will only continue to whip things up into a storm. Things can turn to widespread violence and chaos quickly. I personally think that what we're seeing is just the start. Things like CHOP/CHAZ, what's the betting it'll happen here?

What about its human rights toward the lgbt community? Its hypocritical top trumps again, i'm more offended than you etc. I guess women, gays and slaves in the middle east will have to wait their turn for an agenda to come along.

 

The media have wanted this backlash, they're as much a part of the problem as the protesters on both sides. Honestly, the older i get i realise what society is really like. Generally a set of gullible naive mugs.

 

Just to give an example of where the black lives matter campiagn currently stands. Reading the comments you gain an understanding of where this is heading. Footballers telling people with a different opinion they need educating. Oh dear. The vast majority of people he refers to as being uneducated are indeed educated, they are just sick of what this whole charade has turned into.

 

Slightly dramatic in places, but a good summary of the farce that's being played out and why it wont achieve anything resembling equality

The PL players are doing a good thing supporting the BLM campaign but now we even question if they should go to the world cup? It's not about questioning a campaign it's about understanding it.
