You seem to have a very rose tinted view of whats happening in the UK , the Anarchy , the BLM campaign as been hijacked by the ultra - left wing which are intent on the destruction of democracy worldwide . Until the BLM leaders come out and denounce them they will gradually lose all the general public .

I agree with most of that Offy but when you look at the pictures on the telly a large portion of the lefties are really just kids and hangers on,amazed at how many young lasses get themselves involved especially as none of them have ever had it so good, baffling...

Funny enough this clip hasn't been mentioned on any main strem media platform, although it was from todays protests. Doesn't fit the narrative i guess.

to be honest, i don't care much for statues. they don't tell the full story of the person they depict - i prefer to learn about a person through reading about them, warts 'n all as they say. keep them, don't keep them - i don't care. i wouldn't miss them if they are gone, i wouldn't visit them if they stay up. in fact, some religions don't believe in them full stop.

are you going to denounce the acts of the people in london today that were chanting '10 german bombers', fighting with the police, making right-wing fascist signs? if you don't you must agree with them in your logic.

 

Taking a slash next to a memorial for PC Keith Palmer, who irnoically gave his life tackling what the bloke taking a piss would call a terrorist. The fact i have to share oxygen with these morons angers me.

 

The reporting of todays events, certainly on Sky News has been about as one sided as you can get.

 

We've seen so much of the worst of humanity on display over the last week.

 

I think a lot of people in this thread have at least attempted to show a degree of introspection, and have put effort in to interrogate and stress test their own views.

I’m not sure you’ve ever shown an inch of compassion for anyone else’s views on any subject than your own or those that are directly compatible with your own. It’s consistently ‘these morons disagree with me, how dare they’. Even in the quoted post, the dismissive tone of how anyone can possibly take issue with anything - ah yes they mustn’t actually believe what they say they do, they must be hangers on and kids. It’s bizarre that you can’t comprehend any viewpoint but your own.

 

I've seen some things that have worried me a lot today, but this one in particularly really annoyed me. The whole point of the big footy lads special day out was to protect memorials, and this doughnut decides to piss next to one.

 

Same on LBC, i've been listening while fixing the wifes bike. Right wing isn't the fashionable term anymore, LBC have been using 'extreme right wing'. I'm getting right into this media lark, i've just seen a telegraph journo post a video of trouble said it was 2hours ago, the video was from this dinnertime and has been used all afternoon.You know they're struggling when they keep using the same footage over and over.

 

This is what 's going to happen , i've said i agree with most of the aims of BLM , now the worst of both sides of the debate have got involved . This is getting enflamed by the MSM , they're focusing on the troubles , this is giving oxygen to the negative side . The MSM need to back away , or give a truer reflection of the positive side and open the debate to moderate voices .
