Be funny if they voted to resume playing.

Div 2 vote to end the season. AGAIN!

    Stevenage down!

    Swindon(Champions) Plymouth and Crewe up

Exeter, Cheltenham, Colchester and Northampton will be in the League Two play-offs as a result of the curtailment to the season.

Disappointing season for us because we should have finished in the top 7 in this week league.

Unlikely as there is no date for when matches can resume with crowds and that is essential at least for L1 &2 clubs for finances and avoiding going out of business. If crowds were not essential for finances we'd be playing now.
I stick by my forecast of 21st Nov with crowds.

So fans need not to expect a rush of signings by clubs now as clubs still need to know what's happening for next season.

Heard Fleetwood chairman say clubs will need a bailout or will go under with no club safe. Called for PL, government or PFA to help.

PL are not going to help, so it's down to the government or PFA I suppose. Tough road ahead still.

Finish in the top 7? With that lot we called a squad? Give yer head a shake. BowyerS killed our season with his unbalanced squad signings.

Thankfully it’s done. Let’s get the rebuild going now.

Next step should be club to offer fans some options with this seasons remaining home games I’d say. I wouldn’t want anything as cheap as they are but keep some goodwill going from a dire season and give fans the option of a refund, money on a card to spend in shop, money off next seasons ticket etc etc. Just come up with something and not assume no one wants a refund

I don’t think they will assume that as they know someone will want a refund so they will plan accordingly. My guess will be they will put an announcement out that refunds will be available and then when decisions are made about next season will offer alternatives.

As staff are furloughed currently they will not be able to process the refunds

Technically League 2 isn't over as relegation can't be decided as yet because possible action against Macclesfield.

Think the club have to come out and be extremely honest about their financial situation plus if Rupp is going to fund us.

I think most will turn them down but there will be one who will threaten to take them to court etc

So are Stevenage down or can Macclesfield still get more points deducted?

No mate. It's on sky yellow box.

Think if I am honest they're trying to delay the Non league.

Their site says this for main ST refunds:
    "Ticket refunds to include;
Season Tickets – 2019/20 season ticket holders are entitled to a refund of 4/23rds of the season ticket price paid."

I would imagine that's how we will go but ours would be 5/23- so approx £32.60 potentially due back.

Now if say 8.000 out of 9,000 (guessing we have that many) adult ST's refunds were donated back to the club (as Northampton fans are already doing) that would be approx £260,800 not taken from next seasons budget. That's a considerable amount.

Could be the difference between having an average squad and a decent one next season.

That would allow those who want the refund to still get one but still leave the club with a decent budget.
