    It's probably pretty much what it says that he's the coach that's focus is on developing players whether that's looking at loans like with French and monitoring them and probably work with some players one on one to improve certain areas of their game. Would guess he'll also work with the 1st year pros or the promising U18s to give them the coaching they need so hopefully we can get more of them in and around the 1st team squad.

    No issues with that,, by all accounts him and collins were relatively well thought of as youth coaches. However in Drury's entire time with the 1st team, name a single player that has developed or gotten better in any way. They;ve consistently looked unfit, poorly motivated and most have gone backwards in every iteration of the team he's had a hand in coaching. Can't get shut quick enough although this to me is another disgrace that we'll sack managers willy nilly, but won't pay Drury off when it;s been clear for some time he ain't doing the business either.

    To blame him for the last couple of seasons shit show is ridiculous.

    Has any player got noticeably better since his involvement with the first team, for example look at how much better O@Donnell performed when he wasn't coaching himself.

    How many assistant managers could you actually say what they did? For example can you put any tangible things that Steve Parkin did for certain?
