We have been asked to attend fans forums by the club but no one from here was interested

    We put up numerous dates

We've been through it before. You could build 50 football stadiums in Bradford, perhaps not if you want a ready to go football stadium sized shape!

Ask Jack Tordoff where he wanted to build, from memory (& l might be wrong) it was around the area where KFC/BMW/Wickes are on Otley Rd. These were not there in 1985, see above....

Paying more to attend games in the Championship isn't going to achieve anything.

    Fulham's squad cost 140 million.

Perhaps if we paid ten grand each we'd be on a level playing field.

Until then, 250-300 quid each is absolutely naff all. It's not going to achieve a single thing on the field, even less off it.

Pipe dream, guys, these beer mat calculations are pointless.

There isn't a single division where an increased cost of a season ticket will make the slightest bit if difference.

There is easily enough money in football for it to happen.

You might as well, because Fulham's squad wasn't paid for by gate receipts.

I often use the phrase 'our' club in some contexts but 'the' club or 'Rupp's' club club to recognise that the future ownership of our club is undeniably in his hands, not ours.

Is there anything to suggest that Rupp would put any of his own money into the club when our only tangible and direct contribution to its finances is via the chepest ST prices in the land? He hasn't done so far. I'd like to see a different approach with a deal agreed with the owner where in return for an increase in adult ST prices of say £25/season (there's nothing scientific about that figure) for the next 3 or even four seasons, the owner will 'invest' an equivalent amount in the playing budget/pitch/infrastructure each season. And none of that is mega bucks.

That of course would require some longer term commitment from the owner and I remain to be convinced that's what he really wants.

I meant like a fans forum like a couple of seasons ago with the owners/manager etc rather than just with Ryan Sparks.

It certainly wasn't. When in the PL, it was largely paid for by the £100m+ they received each season from Sky for playing in the PL and since then by their £90m parachute payment! And that's just the same for Huddersfield

    Exactly.

We'd need equivalent investment until we got to the Premier League, at which point TV money and parachute payments would take over and cover us.

If we want to compete in the Championship, we need tens of millions of pounds of investment on a rolling basis every season, just like the other Championship clubs.

Then, if we want to build on infrastructure and top end training facilities, we could use yet more of those millions.

But it won't come from season tickets, none of it will. We might get a League One player out of it an increase though.

Why don't Fulham charge £150 then?

There is a long standing discussion about why clubs don't charge far less for season tickets when they're a drop in the ocean.

I like this idea. He matches the additional revenue from ST price increase.

    10k x £150 £1.5m
    10k x £200 £2.0m

£500k in additional ST revenue to be matched. by Rupp.... £1m in additional overall budget.

How do we sell this to the club?

This shows commitment on both sides.

    Just for reference.
Preston NE figuers recently released for 2018/2019 season.
They lost £14.2M in total and their revenue streams are only £13.8M - Truly eye watering.
For every £1 spend on players wages, only 18p was from matchday revenue.
Even though they are owned by Billionaire Trevor Hemmings, He has lent the club through an interest free loan £4.1M during 2018/2019.
The total debt now PNE owe to Mr Hemmings is £47M. (if he ever wanted to take it back , he won't but it's still debt)

Not sure 'Investment' is the correct term

    Overall your argument us sound.

But right now, in Div 2, an extra million in income (£150 to £250 per ST) is an enormous, 60%, increase.

At our level this is not something to be sniffed at. It may well have allowed us to keep Vaughn and Doyle whilst bringing in Novak and we have no idea what potential midfield targets we missed out on because our budget was used up,

Championship, Premiership you are spot on but for Div 2 you are very, very wrong.

You are assuming that 10k Adult paying folk will part with £250 to watch Bradford City in the 20/21 season.
    Good luck with that currently.
