Its not about Doyle mate its about 20-25 goals and maybe 15-20 points at least...to a rival in the same league..... and worst than that we are paying for it Oh and all our strikers are struggling.... in the same division pause deep breath .....

 

Let's turn this situation on it's head and it was Bradford City who had taken one of your surplus strikers on loan and he had "done a Doyle", how would you as a Swindon fan react to that situation to panning out and what would you want Swindon to do come January ?.

 

He's scored 53% of your entire goals, of course it will have a massive impact on you if he leaves.

 

Oh, no doubt I’d feel the same. But it’s not down to what fans may think is an obvious solution.

If it was, I’m sure we all would have heard something by now.

 

Well, that’s assuming we don’t get a replacement or that his replacement wouldn’t score any.

Yates is the league’s 2nd top scorer being played out of position because of Doyle’s golden streak.

I’m convinced we’d be fine. Do I want him to stay - of course I do.

 

No we wouldn't .

 

I’ll bet you a penny to a pound of pig dung, Bradford, Swindon and Doyle know what’s happening.

 

And I'm sure Doyle will have a massive say in what happens in January

 

I’m not too sure about that. Is he, or his agent, likely to say to you that if you recall him he doesn’t want to return? Not very professional.

I could imagine him returning but not being much use to you.

 

We have a big dug out plenty of room on the bench.

 

That makes no sense.

He was our leading goal scorer last season and Bowyer wanted him to stay.

Even if he scores 50% of goals he has for you for us the he is useful.

Even I he scores no goals for us he's useful as we have taken away a player from a rival who has scored over 50% of the goals for the team and without him look sh&te.

 

If we brought him back we'd bring him down to our level. Its what we do to strikers.

 

Watched a fair bit of them on Saturday and to be fair they played some decent football of which Doyle was a part of. Certainly have more an attacking flair than we do.

 

Yes they do for sure because Bowyer is a little negative.

However, Doyle scores most of their goals and without him they could struggle a bit.

 

Be interesting to see how someone like Vaughan would have fared in their set up as opposed to Doyle.

 

Think he would of scored double what he has here.

I'm shocked if he hasn't had words with Bowyer about how he's playing.

 

I'm not sure we would have heard about it, as you say we are only fans.

 

Bet you hope Yates isn’t recalled too

So basically you're top of the league through your loanees? Have to have a word with Yates and Grant parent clubs methinks.....
