    Not a chance we'll sign another left back imo. We already have Henley, Longridge and Wood all available for the shirt plus Riley on the books (although admittedly unavailable).

    2 wingers, plus an attacking midfielder who's either a wide man or a number 10 type but probably not someone you'd play centrally in a 2?

    That's mental!

    1 winger, maybe. But 2? I'd have to assume that one or both of Scannell and Gibson are leaving if we bring Buckley and Roberts in.

    We need someone who can make a tackle and keep possession. And a striker to back up the front 2.

    Can’t see us signing Roberts and Buckley when Wood has done well there. I remember Roberts was very good a few years ago but is getting on a bit. I would think it would be Roberts or Buckley

    What about Spearing - wasn't he mentioned? Just the type of player we need. He's their captain I think, so probably not much chance of us getting him.
    Or was he mentioned just because he plays for Blackpool?

    Hopefully we will be back in league 1 with Blackpool then to compete for his signature.

    That would make sense. Neither is rapid, but plenty of experience and we just need good deliveries into the box for the front 2.
