If we are to continue to play 442 Donaldson who looks very fit for an older player is ideal

 

Wing or up front, he's great at both.

Vaughan, deep lying forward or spearheading the front line, literally doesn't matter because he's great at football also.

Football is not complicated when you have good players who aren't extremely limited like a certain Swindon forward.

 

Said in the BBC interview he let him go to free up wages so I'd expect some incomings. One centre mid and a backup forward for me. A left winger on loan but give Wood the chance to make that spot his own, no point wasting a player with genuine potential.

 

Good to see that Bowyer finally took note of all the constructive criticism offered by @Fordy117 and @BoingBoing. Just goes to show it's not only player power that counts. Great result and three fine goals.

What do you mean by not really Fordy? Criticism when it's constructive and fair is great but you're either a complete troll or just poison with a stupid thread like this at the stage of the season you posted it.

 

Too early to poor scorn on him after 3 games, too soon to put him on a pedestal after 5. This will take time.

I see shoots of recovery. But our performances even in our last 2 wins have been mixed.

 

For me the fundamentals and basics look right which gives me confidence to know we will be ok this season.

We can defend again. Much like Parkys days it’s not going to be pretty at times and we won’t dominate games but we will get points.

We need a couple of additions, that’s clear but I think we will get those. Maybe the attacking mid in Devitt will be key as we will have an out ball? I thought Scannell would be that man but he continues to flatter to deceive
