Gary Bowyer - when do we judge?

Not putting him on a pedestal FB. But it's blindingly obvious this was a pathetic thread and the start we've had has shown that. It's also obvious to both the fans and GB the areas of the squad that need addressing and he's on with it but I'd take sh1t performances and 3 points.

 

One goal conceded 3 clean sheets getting points without being at our best all good signs. Saturday could be the toughest yet a couple of new signings would be nice

 

I think we need 3.

A midfield enforcer.
A midfielder who can retain the ball and link the play.
A left winger.

 

I think Palmer is that man with the enforcer next to him.

He needs that freedom in there that an enforcer would bring.

Tough game Saturday however. Forest green I know but they are a good side

 

Do you not think we need another forward? Surely that's more of a priority than a left winger?

 

They lost tonight so will be keen to bounce back.

 

Didnt they lose 14 players in the summer, including all their best ones. Not sure how well they have recruited since, but I am guessing, they will not be as strong as last season

 

And a striker.

Blood pressure went through the roof whenever Donaldson or Vaughan went down knowing Patrick was the only forward on the bench.

Ironic post of the year goes to.....Seriously, think about what you’re posting. Two wins doesn’t mean we stop judging Bowyer, far from it. Two wins doesn’t mean everything is rosey in the Bradford City garden. Can you think critically, or are you a sheep?

If you honestly believe members on here who state, “ he’s now doing what I asked” you need to stop biting that bait so hard”.

It’s still too early to judge but the talk of sacking him was delusional and nothing else.

In ten games we must play someone good? We will have a fuller picture to how we are doing.

And in those ten games, our team on paper will be complete methinks. I think so far we are doing okay. We may have to add a few in January too depending on how its going.

What is nice is there is some crap teams. I remember looking at Div 1 and thinking were our next win was coming from?

 

Next two will test us no doubt if we don’t get any bodies in.

Forest Green at home and then Crewe away who are currently top.

Win our home games and draw away at Crewe wouldn’t be a bad start at all

 

Threads or more the posts in these threads are pointless... we don’t win a couple and those at that side of the fence come out of the woodwork he’s rubbish, sack him, off with his head... win a couple and tongues come out looking for a hole to lick. Instead of that why not just comment on the specific game and if we won what we did well and if we lose where we went wrong. This thread is purely there to bash each other it’s not actually got anything to do with Bowyer

8 pts from games everyone of us would have taken that but the fact we have kept 3 clean sheets, defence and O'Donnell look solid it does show what can be done when given time to assemble. We still need probably 3 more in but no doubt GB has got the squad United.
