Haha, love it. Think I'd have to shoot myself if that was the case!
But replying to a post saying how do I know? It's because I know him and he feels alot stronger and fitter than he has in the past 14/15 months, but obviously other issues may pop up, and were back to square one, but without any hold up I can assure you we will be seeing him back in a city shirt - just wont put a time on it.

 

Tell him there's no rush, it's not like we're desperate for central midfielders or anything.

Just might have a set back, niggles etc. But as things stand it's looking promising.

 

Were there any points last season that it was looking promising? Because, in fairness, we kept hearing that.

Tbh, I think the managers, Hopkins especially, tried to bull us and keep us hoping - but let me tell you Hopkins was THE worst manager the players have ever worked under, at any club they had previously played at.

 

I'd heard that from a player who's not there now, to a point where the player felt he couldn't do anything right for doing wrong.

 

Exactly, I know this is about Reeves, but Hopkins would order his players in at 9am, drop a ball at the CBs, get the forwards to make runs and try pick it out - literally that was it, no tactics, no midfield, nothing. Hopkins would sit in his office till 12pm, players lunch shower home, then Reeves would be allowed to train along with the fellow injured ha, incredible really.

 

No surprise he's back in the lower leagues in Scotland, the players hated him.
