    The good thing with Scannell is he can play either wing I believe he played on the left today. He can also left centre has he did near the end of the season.. The big worry is injury

    Not having a go st anyone for no reason. I called this idiotic, judgemental opinions from folks before kick-off.

    You said the full back was too lightweight for a full back, yet that’s his position and a position he has held throughout his career. Yet you wanted to tell everyone that was wrong based on 45mins...!

    And Scannell didn’t create much.? He created the only goal of the half. So created more than anyone else, right?

    Why the need to right-off players after 45mins of a fitness session?

    To be fair I thought Gibson showed some promise today. Yes it did not all work out, but he kept going and as has already been posted numerous times, it was only a friendly.

    The other player who seemed to have a decent forty five minutes was Riley, although he was not really tested in his defensive capacities.

    If the performance from X over 45 minutes was not worthy of praise, then any glowing positivity suggesting otherwise is misplaced.

    Someone should be able to criticise when they see fit, i'm not sure what putting a positive spin on it is going to achieve apart from appeasing the precious few. Plus, it's not any different from you saying that Vaughan needs to sharpen up his finishing, is it.

    His temperament as shown in the Sunderland home game is also a big worry
    He will get plenty of "questionable" challenges this season It all depends how he reacts
    With the combined weaknesses I can see him only completing 20 matches at most for us
