    TBF he's not going to say the budget is uncompetitive. He's trying to sell season tickets.

    Competitive is a very loose word. Competitive with mid table clubs? Competitive so we don't get hammered every week?

    It could mean anything.

    Only time will tell Bowyer seems confident he can get the players he wants so must have been given assurances let’s see what transpires. What I am sure of you don’t need to spend fortunes in league two where wages are less and transfer fees rare we need a Parky like touch from Bowyer to find the right players with the right character

    There are 13,700 season ticket holders this season and all are included in attendance figures whether they attend or not. In October at the Coventry midweek game the official attendance was given as 11,075! This makes no sense whatsoever.

    Yep a pretty telling comment on this seasons ST sales. I think most of us believed it was just short of 15,000.

    I spotted this, which I guess is where you got the figure from? “Last summer under Edin Rahic, season ticket sales figures were kept under wraps. Thousands didn't renew and Rahic did not want the world to know. WOAP understands that around 13,700 were actually sold.     The way to judge the level of support we have is not through the number of Season Tickets sold
    Its the actual number of "Bums on seats that counts" and spending in the ground
    Be very interested on the actual number of people in the ground at matches
    I know of a lot of fans who bought last year (myself included) who havent attended for months
    but still bought a ST for next season "LIVING IN HOPE"

    I'd have thought if Rahic inflated the number sold it would have reduced the player budget, or something else where he could have moved finance from ?.

    in fairness, thats exactly the sort of thing I could see Edin doing.

    much like he did with supposed 'transfer fee's in an effort to curry favour with the fanbase.
