    Really? Do you actually live in the real world?
    1. We don't have a pot to piss in, thanks to Edin's crazy recruitment.
    2. We have a bloated squad packed with out of favour, overpaid players that we want to ship out, but no one wants them.
    3. FFP rules probably impact on what we can do.
    4. Identifying players early doesn't necessarily mean that they are available early once the window opens. Things change rapidly and continually during the transfer window.
    5. We are second from bottom of the table. So not the greatest draw for players, their agents or loaning clubs from higher divisions.

    Yeah, it's a piece of cake attracting quality players.

    Can you or anyone remember when was the last time, we had a January transfer window,
    where the majority of supporters thought we’d done well?

    No, neither can I. It just doesn’t happen. We’ve always wanted more than we get, including the nearly season with Hendrie and McCall. The club need to manage expectations and fans need to accept that January is the worst time to recruit. Getting 3 or 4 quality players into the squad either costs stupid amounts of money (then you have to question their motives) or you’re top end of the league and they know they’ll be playing championship football next season.

    We’re neither so it’s unrealistic to think it might happen this season.
