Do any of our injured players ever come back? Get an injury here and they just seem to vanish into the ether.

 

Fair point. However what's your thoughts on Facchetti, Paolo Maldini, Phillipe Lahm, Zambrotta and Azpilicueta?

All right footed and arguably some of the better left backs to have played the game. (I was surprised by Maldini when I read it!!) However these were the top players and they were 'clever' players in their heads so could adapt to being right footed so your point stands

My thoughts are they are phenomenal players and the best of their times usually.

But different to Woods who can’t get a game for love nor money in the English championship

 

Is he injured again? Why would Dundee sign him if he’s injured? I know he missed a chunk of games earlier in the season after getting injured. But he second spell out of the team was down to manager choice as far as I know. He got a straight red, missed a couple of games through suspension and was then left out. I note he has been left out again recently, was that down to injury?

 

Doubt it, as monies too tight to mention

 

We know that our finances are pants atm. We are probably struggling with getting players out and fair play rules.

I know we all would just like to go out and get the players we need, but we have to overcome the above, plus persuading players to come when we are bottom is difficult. On top of all that we have to make sure that players we do bring have the right strength of character for a relegation battle. You still haven’t finished with the obstacles, it’s January and agents will know we are desperate for players so the price goes up.

 

NKP once played as a centre forward, but that doesn’t make him versatile or decent in that position...!

Why would a Hanson type player require a winger? Southend hardly used the wings on Saturday, but Humphrys was still the most effective player on the park
