There are positions of weakness we are crying out to strengthen and we are looking at a right back? How about a left back or a central midfielder to replace Jim O’Brien? Or a striker actually capable of getting something on the end of the long balls from our defenders and O’Donnell that seem to be the norm again? No wonder our support has that feeling of impending doom about it.

 

Another transfer window turning into an actual poor showing, coupled with poor info coming out of the club and local rag!
But let’s not get negative, let’s dust ourselves down, we go again in the summer with scouted targets.

 

I am very bored of January

 

It could be going again in league two though, and thats a worrying prospect, we thought with the resent upturn in form we could pull away but Saturday was certainly a wake up call.

 

In other news, left back Aidy White now on trial at Sunthorpe.

 

Andrew Davies are you kidding me? Injured, again. Barely played when he was here and now a couple of years down the line he’s still getting injuries and our for months at a time.

Everything else I agree with though, we need it badly. Scunthorpe signed two who if we were serious would have been excellent here. Too late now

 

No major loss. Never fit. Be ok if we were doing well as cover but can’t rely on him

 

Unlike Bruckner, Isherwood's name is likely to pop up again in a few years time, playing against Everton ( or a similar status club) for some Swedish team in the Europe cup.

 

Davies never an option, saying that he won more tackles in his sleep last night than AO’C has in his entire life.

Versatile ?

 

Preston opinion on Woods;

Yeah, very versatile if he can stay fit for more than two games.

Right back by trade but played left back in our promotion season and was class in the play-offs, also had a run at centre back when we were promoted and he was quality, think we kept 6 clean sheets in a row or something.

Not sure if he's the same player now though, constant injuries mean we can't rely on him in the Championship anymore.

Been a good player for us, wish him well.

 

Whatever happened to this Jordan Roberts rumour. I can't see he's moved yet. Maybe no one actually agreed to sign him?
